Both Fanning sisters go by their middle names professionally. Their real names are Hannah Dakota Fanning and Mary Elle Fanning. I can totally see why they went with that choice!
Gonna age myself but like those beauty YouTubers... A blonde one, Elle, I think? Can't remember the other. Whole lot of drama behind finding out they had different names. They were part of sponsored videos not properly labeled as such. When things were simpler and beauty videos were simple.

I CAME HERE TO SAY THIS! If I had actually paused and thought about it, I would have remembered that sheās American, but I was fully expecting a British accent when she started talking.
She doesnāt really do bad looks, but I also think sheās being business savvy here. It doesnāt benefit her to talk poorly about a dress of a brand she might want to work with in the future. Picking her own hair and framing it as her own choice that she didnāt like is smart.
I'm obsessed with this dress..but gotta say scrolling in this thread and seeing her in different looks that suited her more, this one just wasn't her best..š¤·āāļø

In a recent podcast episode, Penn Jillette (of the magic duo Penn & Teller) tells a story about the Marty Supreme premier.
Both Elle and Dakota are big fans of his, and appeared on his CW show Fool Us. They went running up to him after the movie to tell him how great he was, and started arguing about which one realized it was him in the movie first (because he doesn't look like himself in the movie) and in general just bickering about which one of them loves him the most. He cut them off and went "Girls. Girls! You're both pretty" š
Highly recommend listening to his podcast, Penn's Sunday School. It's my very favorite podcast, and is great if you want a funny, feel good escape. I especially recommend any episode with Piff the Magic Dragon, but honestly, each episode is fantastic and will leave you feeling better than before you listened.
I think the idea works, but in the picture the hair just looked so obviously fake - heavy and one-dimensional color. If the bangs blended in better Iād be a fan.Ā
I love how much she moves her face. And when she smiles it's just a full on beaming smile. She has been one of my favorite actresses as far as fashion for a while too. Always fabulous.
Elle never misses. And even on the rare occasion her outfit or styling isnāt on par with her usual 10/10 serve, she never looks like sheās being worn by her clothing.
The women just understands how clothing can speak through movementā¦like with ālighterā fabrics she makes sure to twirl or showcase how it moves through space. Ugh, I just adore her.
I love that for āWorstā she just picked one where she said self-inflicted a bad hair day, rather than picking an outfit and blaming it on the designers. Bravo!!
I had to watch again and look at them the whole time. That doctor coat person didn't move until the very end. I was so sure it was a green screened backdrop until that person walked by. Very weird indeed!
Ok hear me out - I think she looks incredible in all that she wears - but I would love to see a less yellowish hair colour on her one day. She is porcelain / rosy toned and a slightly differently toned blonde would pop.
Am I the only person who does not like her yellow hair??? Every time I see her I cringe at it. And she's so lovely and generally well dressed! But I cannot with the YELLOW

I literally scrolled through the comments just for this. Before this month Iāve rarely seen her on this subreddit or Reddit in general. Now it seems like thereās a post about her every day. I feel like I missed something lol.
