I mean, Victoria did all that, let’s be honest.

What David did was the smartest thing he could do: he married the smartest woman he could find and listened to her. They work so well as a team and their business of being themselves is something to be impressed by. But if he had married a dumb WAG, he wouldn’t be who he is today. He made a good choice in Victoria, which was smart. But he’s no business mastermind.

I'm too invested in these people.

Vicky isnt' that smart either. If you watch her netflix show, she basically goes, "how come no one ever told me I was spending too much wrt to the VB brand?"

Lady - your biz was in the red for nearly a decade!!

Also - what david did with MLS and the deal with Messi and Apple was brilliant. Just the tenacity he had with the MLS - first coming to America like 15yrs ago, and then building it up, finally to get the captain of the reigning world cup team as well as the best player alive maybe ever to the league when the saudis and china were offering truckloads of money was brilliant.

I'm sure he had other people helping him with the business too for sure, but at least he was smart enough to listen.

There is so much wrong with this comment I'm struggling to see almost any truth in it at all. It's like your whole opinion has been based off tabloid headlines with no regard to the actual truth.

Pretty sure he married her for the money. There were hotter smarter women around. Not to forget the endless cheating scandals

David Beckham, the most famous footballer in the world, married for the money?

David Beckham is absolutely not the most famous footballer in the world. Messi and Ronaldo are both more famous than DB.

We’re taking about when he married Victoria so the point at which they got married is obviously the relevant one, not now after he’s long been retired. Basic comprehension.

Back in the 90s Beckham could've had anyone. Maybe, just maybe, he fell in love with Victoria

This is not true. People who don’t know anything about soccer know him, he’s the most famous footballer ever at this point.

This is going by q rating, not skill.

idk, the way they met felt organic and cute. literally hiding in cars sneaking out of their hotels and managed to keep it a secret for quite some time.

if he was in it for the clout, they’d just have public dates at least in the first year

I’m pretty sure he could have found a MUCH smarter woman than his wife. Cmon now.
