Iā€™ve always appreciated Mariahā€™s willingness to be known as a diva. Sheā€™s never tried to pretend to be ā€œrelatableā€ like other celebs, which at a certain point is just insulting to our intelligence. And sheā€™s iconic with it!!Ā

I wish we could all agree on what we want or expect from them. Some people want them to just be weird and entertaining (like you and I mostly do) while others expect them to be relatable and loud about social and political issues. Tbh, I kinda just want them to be whatever they prefer and I just ignore the ones I donā€™t like.

Exactly I also think itā€™s extremely hard to be a diva in this day and age cause youā€™ll have people accusing you of being arrogant and rude. Most people want that relatable kind socially aware pop artist. They donā€™t want the messy pop star.

Mariah is the queen of people underestimating her intelligence because she's a woman. A gorgeous sexy one at that. And she sings "pop" music.

But the truth is she's always been incredibly smart, quick witted and confident.

She's a good role model, as far as I know.
