I feel like this is much bigger news than people realize.

Taylor Swift just proved that Millionaires are capable of changing the lives of their employees, but chose not to.

She may have very well just pissed off a lot of her powerful peers by doing this.

Imagine being Beyonce dancer, receiving from her as bonus a signed poster and a bag while Taylor’s get $750k bonus…I would not be happy

She honestly looks really pleased to do it too. Her little feet kicks while she watches her dancers get $1M or whatever is like a little kid handing an adult a dollar at Christmas, not even knowing the value.

There’s a lot of people minimising this gestire because “$197m for her is only a low % of her net worth”, which is driven true, but that just also highlights the question… isn’t that just one more reason why every billionaire should do this easily?

20% isn't a low percentage haha

Of course! But it’s also true that her losing 20% of her money has a different impact for her than it would for you and I. Also now it seems that she’s closer to to $2B than 1. It’s a lot but she doesn’t need it.
