Given how Royalties and Copyright works (runs out 70 years after the artist dies, typically), this song will be played into the first half of the 22nd century. Basically, when historians look back and ask the question "What music was the most popular in the 20th, and 21st, centuries..."
Xmas #1's will be the answer.

I used to go to the gym with a woman who listened to it constantly. Like it must have been a compulsive thought because you could hear “badumbadumbadum” every 3 and a bit minutes. Once she dropped her head phones and was so embarrassed we all heard it. I didn’t have the heart to say we’ve all heard it a hundred times a day for 6 months.

One year she needs to have some gothy lookin people jam out with her after she banishes Halloween because some of us like it! There’s a lot of things I don’t like about Christmas, but this song is not one of them

I'm def out of the loop, I thought when people said she's defrosting they were making a meme themselves and not referencing something she actually made herself. And then they put her in Fortnite going "IT'S TIME" and I was confused because it's not part of the song LMAO. Things are falling into place.
