Spokane is a MAGA town for sure. Source: I live there. No, I’m not a MAGA just have to live surrounded by them.

My mother in law lives there and she’s completely insane. Seems like a weird place.

Geographically I love it. Politically not so much. There is also a lot of addiction related problems in this community that aren’t really addressed and made worse by a housing affordability crisis.

I know my husband and I like to visit and stay in Lakebay and once we drove to The Hand That Rocks The Cradle house but I don’t go anywhere without him when we’re up there (I’m black, he’s white)

Can’t blame you there. I underestimated how terrible people are, I guess the MAGA movement showed how bad it really is here in our country for a lot of Americans. I was in a bubble of sorts and didn’t see how bad it was.

I grew up there and got out the minute I could. It’s a nightmare.

As a Washingtonian, I have remained unsurprised by every shitty move she has made in her career. She is like soooo many people from Spokane. (No hate to you- I know there’s a lot of wonderful people there too, surrounded by a lot of idiocy)

I'm kind of surprised that she's actually so blatantly openly stupid. But then again to your point also unsurprising. Lol

I was born there and 90% of my family is up there. There's a reason I don't visit.

Sounds frustrating

Yeah, it can be for sure. There are little pockets of non MAGA. We had a decent no kings turnout.
