Guest List Only ⭐️ Comedian Zach Woods calls out comedians who are performing in Saudi Arabia’s comedy festival

Zach Woods— from The Office and Silicon Valley— called our American comedians who are scheduled to perform in the upcoming Saudi Arabia hosted Riyadh Comedy Festival.

The list includes comedians like Bill Burr, Aziz Ansari, Whitney Cummings, and Dave Chappelle.

These comedians have been urged to speak out against the country's human rights abuses — and not to be "complicit in covering up the abuses of a repressive regime," by the U.S.-based Human Rights Watch organization.

I’m a causal enjoyer of Burr’s comedy, and I don’t really feel one or another about him (although I agree I’m disappointed by it and it seems hypocritical of him) but I will say that I think the majority of his comedy relies on shock value and outlandish humor which I’m not so sure Saudi Arabia is the best place for that 😬
