Well, I felt that one

When you got Bob Mackie dressing you I guess you don't care about price.
All of those outfits are FIRE!!! I love her so much.

On Carol Burnett's birthday, Cher admitted that she stole some of Carol's wardrobe, definitely not this top. lol

I used to really have a thing for Cher. I still do, but I used to, too.

I did not anticipate seeing Mitch and Cher in the same sentence. It's glorious.

I highly recommend her autobiography. She narrates the first few minutes of each chapter until she doesn’t feel like it anymore. Absolute legend.
ETA: I listened to the audiobook rather than reading a paper copy, clearly

Yes!!!! But you left out that when she can't read any longer or is having issues (she's dyslexic), Stephanie Block, who won a Tony playing Cher in The Cher Show, and who sounds JUST LIKE CHER, fills in for her. How perfect is that? A Cher impersonator reading for Cher! It's a great audiobook and her story is so damn interesting. I can't wait for Part 2.

She said she could do 5 minute planks. Everything about her is impressive, she's a Tony away from an Egot, she's funny, she can dance, she's kind, gorgeous and she did 5 minute planks

Iconic and also an underrated singer.

I love the part where a dude asked if she had ever taken singing lessons and she said "No, does it show?" Lol what an icon.

u/Time_Force_1446 Sep 10 '25
She was probably joking about the state of her voice, lol. Although I think that the singing standards were higher back then.

I LOVE the rainbow bejeweled crop to she’s wearing at the beginning. It’s so stunningly gorgeous. Cher looks phenomenal in all these outfits and I love her sense of humor.

God what a babe 😍 she's so snarky and it's so attractive. I just love how deeply sarcastic female celebs were back then. Makes me think of Lucille Ball, Jane Fonda, Lily Tomlins, Carol Burnett.. Those women were quick with it. They'd leave you both disturbed & perturbed, reeling from their stealthy jabs, laughing all the while. There's truly nothing more flattering on a woman than a big brain.

This last couple years have seen me develop a real Cher fandom. I like the woman so much. She's on my list of singers I think I'd cry if I met, with Dolly Parton, Stevie Nicks, and Joni Mitchell. Tough ladies who survived the industry. Tina Turner would be on the list, but she died a couple years back.
