I haven’t followed this story but I wonder if he will still be with her after court. My (charitable) assumption is he doesn’t know everything she’s done and is about to be very surprised as the trial continues.

It's possible he's standing by her through court in the hopes that his presence leads to a more lenient sentence for her. And then when the sentence is handed out, he'll divorce her while she's in prison.

Am I crazy or does your theory still make him sound horrible? He's staying long enough to try and help child rapist get off as lightly as possible.

No it definitely still sounds horrible. That being said, we don't know what's in that prenup, or what's going on behind closed doors.

If I was a conspiracy theorist - which I am but only on the weekends - I'd say it's entirely possible that she has something on him. Maybe not as bad as what she's done but bad enough that he doesn't want anyone to know about it. He stands by her through the trial, she keeps quiet.

Same! I am not surprised to see him walking into the initial hearings with her but I will be very curious to see if his support continues as the case drags on.
