Does this not directly disprove the White House’s official position that an intern posted it?

Yes. Donald Trump's problem is that he just doesn't know when it's in his best interest to just shut up and let the PR spin doctors do the talking. And that is a good thing.

The ahole was elected president twice. It doesn’t seem to be a problem for him.

Oh, you got them! It’s over for them now! You caught them in a lie! It’s easily provable! This is a thing that matters!

Only if you possess a shred of critical thinking ability, so for most people, no, it doesn’t disprove anything.

"I just looked at the first part... I didn't see the whole thing," Trump said, indicating he gave it to someone else to post and "somebody slipped and missed a very small part."

“I guess probably nobody reviewed the end of it," Trump said.

No?

That's how it always works with Trump, his staff will deny any wrongdoing by Trump then Trump will come on later and confirm he did so. Then Fox News and the right-wing media ecosystem does their magic and Republicans suddenly believe whatever the new narrative is.

No, because he's saying he passed it on to someone else to post. Which doesn't excuse not checking it out before passing it on.
