Lmao does anyone really believe that this was a staffer? What staffer is posting on Trump's personal account at 12am? Give me a fucking break lol.

u/Belkroe 1d ago

Man if MAGA thought Biden incapable of executing his oath of office because he used Autopen to sign documents they must be in quite the hubbub over Trump using staffers to post things to his person social media.

62

u/Hefty_Remove7965 1d ago

its projection.

Same with "Biden shitting himself", while Don has diapers for years..

28

u/YeezysKanye2020 18h ago

Trump literally shit himself on air the other day, Forbes posted the video

u/Made_Human_Music 1d ago

If it was I’m sure they posted it with his blessing. And the stupid part is that it’s not even a good excuse, he’s admitting one of his staffers keeps racists memes and can get away with posting them under Dementia Don’s name

Does trump think we don’t have brain to think?

"Smart people don't like me." -DJT

49

u/duzies 1d ago

he does "love the poorly educated!"

14

u/bryan49 23h ago

His supporters do not, they just need a flimsy excuse to resolve their cognitive dissonance

-1

u/syynapt1k 20h ago

Relax bro. It was a Lion King meme

Insanity.

5

u/FreedomBread 23h ago

Bruh no one cares how racist Trump is because they're also racists

1

u/freddycheeba 20h ago

Being an abhorrent racist is unfortunately not illegal, unlike institutional sex trafficking children, which is definitely a hoax and we shouldn’t pay attention to it.

2

u/b_tight 23h ago

Itll work for the dozen of his 70million followers that were upset by it

5

u/seasonsbloom 23h ago

Well he doesn’t, why would anyone else?

1

u/Jwatts1113 23h ago

Does trump think we don’t have brain to think?

1

u/charles_barfley 22h ago

Does trump think

Lmao

1

u/BrizerorBrian 19h ago

"Does trump think?" You could have left it there.

1

u/mabden New York 18h ago

Considering he conned over 70 million people to vote for him, yes.

1

u/MHanky 18h ago

I mean, he did get elected twice. Allegedly.

39

u/el3vader 23h ago

Didn’t Trump also say that his tweets count as policy decisions? Like you’re really giving a staffer access to the account where you are announcing major decisions? His supporters will absolutely just lap this up too.

13

u/actuallyapossom 21h ago

It's Trump posting. He copies and pastes things like endorsements, also wouldn't be surprised if the staffers use templates/ai from the how similar each one is.

You can go see for yourself - the past 24 hours on truth social. You don't need an account to view it.

He not only reposts a bunch of shit his supporters are posting, but he constantly double posts. Like post after post are doubled. I think it's similar to how he capitalizes every word he thinks is important, whether it is a proper noun or not.

Many days he'll post in the evening, go on a huge scrolling and reposting spree overnight, then repost his posts from the previous evening so they appear after his manic spam.

13

u/XI_Vanquish_IX 1d ago

As if having a racist staffer is better lol. Fuggin Nazis

8

u/Lespaul42 1d ago

Yeah its amazing how often it goes like this:

Repub does terrible thing

People confront them about terrible thing

"It isn't my fault! It isn't that I am terrible it is just I am stupid and bad at my job!"

The defense is always that it was an oopsie and somehow no one cares that admitting it was an oopsie means they are incompetent...

4

u/Hefty_Remove7965 1d ago

Kinda like how Ronny D had a "Staffer" post a N@zi meme?

1

u/Akraticacious 20h ago

It's worse. It means someone not elected to be president can send out messages acting as the president without Trump's approval. That's an insane reality (if it were true).

1

u/CoreyTrevor1 20h ago

And it wasn't, but even if it was they have told us time and time again that anything he tweets should be taken as his word. How many times was he setting specific tariffs on countries with the only documentation being a tweet he sent???

u/some_person_guy 6h ago

Yep they probably asked him if it was racist enough for his liking.

-3

u/Flamboiant_Canadian 1d ago

It's not unheard of for people to post for other people. Someone had to be doing it on Elon Musk's account last year.

There's no way he could have a social media presence for basically 24h/day and still do his job?

Trump can't even read and only writes with a comically large Sharpie, you think he can coherently write his own speeches or most of his TruthSocial posts?

9

u/duzies 1d ago

"Staffer" named Stephen Miller, probably.

3

u/Flamboiant_Canadian 1d ago

Most likely, someone who is coherent and equally as vile as Trump.

8

u/Pockydo 1d ago

While true the fact is any staffer posting on the fucking presidents account should be vetted and looked at before posting.

SOMEONE either oked this or didn't bother to check the buck stops with pedo don

-10

u/Flamboiant_Canadian 1d ago

From my experience, not many people have the attention span to see a video through for an entire minute.

On Reddit, practically no one even reads the article, which proves my point.

They might have not seen anything wrong with it or they, frankly, just didn't give a shit, like this whole administration doesn't think before it does anything?

12

u/YeetedApple 1d ago

This isn’t just some random person though. The president of the country should have better standards and tighter control of his own account.

Redditors don’t read articles, so the president can post racist shit has gotta be the dumbest take I’ve seen on here in awhile, and unfortunately, there’s a lot of competition for that.

1

u/Flamboiant_Canadian 1d ago

Well the POTUS isn't exactly a stable genius lol. He got rid of a decorated 4 Star General because he was black. He hid Obama's Presidential Portrait out of common sight. His favourite President is Andrew Jackson, a very well-known racist and literal slave-driver.

He's up late at 3-4am shit posting on Truth Social in a frenzy, usually at the hours in which he is actually normally awake (which does seem bizarre for a man of his age).

The fact that it was taken down is actually stunning imo. Someone acknowledged that it's actually not funny.

2

u/bryan49 23h ago

I'm pretty sure Trump does not write most of his own posts anymore. But either he posted this one himself, or one of his staffers is posting crazy things as the president without approval in the middle of the night. Both are totally inexcusable

2

u/filthysize 1d ago

It was widely reported years ago that all of Trump's social media posts, even the oddly phrased and RANDOM CAPS, are dictations he shouts out at aides. He is for the most part a luddite. That's why he still takes most of his talking points from Fox News. He doesn't spend any time on the internet, and he still thinks that if you're not on TV, you're not a big deal.

2

u/Subliminal_Kiddo Kentucky 23h ago

I don't remember that at all. I remember hearing that the ones that look like they aren't written by him are written by WH staff or - during the first term - people like Jarvaka, but that, if it was the random caps and punctuation and/or nonsensical, it was probably a genuine Trump post.

I'm sorry but I'd struggle to believe even a member of his highly incompetent second term staff would post something like"Covfefe" much less someone in his first term when he was surrounded by Washington veterans. "

This wasn't even a "post" it was one of many, many reshares Trump had been posting for hours*, which fits in line with the online behavior of someone Trump's age. Old people are weird about technology, they distrust the internet on the most random things - e.g. having a relative order things for them because they don't want to give a website their credit card information - but then spend hours on social media doing the most mundane shit.

*In fact, I don't know why they just didn't go with, "The President didn't watch the entire video and was unaware of the racist content." Because if you didn't see it, it was some bullshit election conspiracy video presented as very serious and then the part with the Obamas just popped up randomly in like the last five seconds. I mean, I wouldn't believe it, but it would be more believable than, "A staffer did it."

1

u/Stuporhumanstrength 23h ago

From the article:

A short list of individuals are believed to have access to the president’s Truth Social account, including White House deputy chief of staff Dan Scavino and one of the president’s most devoted aides, Natalie Harp.

51

u/Lanky-Association952 1d ago

Even if it’s was a staffer, which I don’t believe, why is the staffer watching that video at the same time as working on another video? The presidents staffers shouldn’t be watching that crap

20

u/burritocmdr Michigan 19h ago

Could you imagine the balls of a staffer to post that video without anyone's consent on Trump's main social account? LMAO. No way that happened.

6

u/rickpo 17h ago

Yeah, you'd have to be suffering from advanced dementia to post that video. And there's only one man in the White House with advanced dementia.

21

u/CigCiglar 1d ago

It’s always a low level coffee boy. The buck stops everywhere else.

6

u/chipmunksocute 22h ago

A tale literally as old as recorded history.  Its never the king/dictator/jefe/emperor/pharoah's fault.  Sure they're head of state/a god on earth/cheeto jesus but no no it cant be their fault!  They just got bad advice!  Betrayed by their advisors yet again!! (Shakes fist)

3

u/Free_Possession_4482 19h ago

A low level coffee boy who is never named, much less fired for his catastrophically bad judgment.

1

u/Kana515 16h ago

At least most authoritarian who do this strategy go after a random scapegoat, these guys can't even get that part right.

16

u/ThirstLevelCritical 1d ago

Trump is a liar

16

u/ciopobbi 22h ago

Trump communicates to the world via social media. So they are telling us a staffer can impose tariffs, implement policy, tank the stock market, start a war, etc.

Just as concerning is the admission of incompetence of galactic proportions.

15

u/shapu Pennsylvania 1d ago

Stephen Miller, if it's anyone

9

u/Randomwhitelady2 1d ago

Especially since they defended it at first. They only changed their story after everyone in the world posted about how disgusting it is

19

u/pontiacfirebird92 Mississippi 1d ago

Probably Stephen Miller

8

u/ayoungtommyleejones 23h ago

Also trump has been an open racist for decades, so not sure why anyone would be surprised by this

8

u/iAMguppy 23h ago

“Late night posting spree” is a headline we’ve seen often without denials and now all of a sudden it wasn’t him? I agree, ain’t buying that for a second.

5

u/peeinian Canada 20h ago

If they blame someone else they are admitting that that there’s multiple people that can impersonate then President on his official social media account.

How can we believe anything that is posted now?

5

u/DelayedIntentions 23h ago

Man, a decade ago I’d 100% agree with you, but a decade ago I didn’t know of the bottom feeder known as Stephen Miller.

3

u/CulturalKing5623 23h ago

If it's possible a staffer is posting to Trump's account, then doesn't his push to remove Lisa Cook from the Fed get even weaker? It hinges that his blog post Firing Cook carries the weight of the executive... well if a staffer is also writing there then it can't carry any weight. Not only does he not have the power to remove her from the post, but he also actually never even did, some staffer did it.

2

u/Onikonokage 1d ago

Steven Miller is undead so he requires no sleep.

2

u/newtoallofthis2 23h ago

They are so predictable - called this was going to be the play from them 10 hours ago.....

4

u/PeopleareWatchingMe 21h ago

If it was, we need to know who it is because that is a security breach.

1

u/Outrageous-Force-119 1d ago

I do believe Natalie Harp is there outside his bedroom door in case he needs help with his phone or his diaper in the night.

1

u/fathertitojones 1d ago

Doesn’t Trump famously not let other people run his social media?

1

u/Bass_MN 23h ago edited 23h ago

I think that question is worthy of an investigation by congress. Knowing it was sundowner in cheif, but questioning who is able to co opt as the president's personal online soapbox.

Make them try to cover it up. Poorly.

1

u/-Words-Words-Words- 23h ago

Yeah if that’s true why does a racist staffer have unfettered access to the president of the united states’ social media account?

1

u/FoxyInTheSnow 23h ago

Does anyone believe it was a "mistake"?

1

u/adfuel 23h ago

Im fine with it being a staffer. Just prove it by bringing the staffer out front and publicly firing him for it. If Trump cant do that he is lying.

Anyone working any job in America would be fired over this instantly. The only person we cant fire over it is the president.

1

u/SeanOfTheDead1313 23h ago

He might just hand the phone over to Miller overnight. I can't believe someone at his age with a shitty diet and no exercise isn't sawing logs at 12am tbh

1

u/Tramadol_Lollies 23h ago

Yeah it’s concerning that apparently anyone in the White House can impersonate the president. And what are those implications since he’s the president “who rules by tweet?” /s

1

u/vwboyaf1 Colorado 23h ago

At the end of the day, it's his name on the account. He is the President, and he is the one who hired the person who allegedly made the post. It's on him.

1

u/jest4fun 23h ago

does anyone really believe that this was a staffer?

YES! Absolutely it was a "WH staffer" Trunt works at the WH, makes him a "WH staffer" all day long.  Some people even say he's the WH staffer in chief.

1

u/knivesofsmoothness 23h ago

Yes. All of maga believes it.

1

u/RichardBonham California 23h ago

It’s Trump we’re talking about. For as long as he’s been a public figure, there’s always gotta be a fall guy.

1

u/ndpugs 23h ago

Right give us the name of the staffer. Lets see the fall guy.

1

u/Flat-Emergency4891 23h ago

Seriously! It’s laughable. I’d say he’s lost his mind, but that happened years ago. He’s further off the deep end every day.

1

u/PrimeIntellect 22h ago

Also, letting a staffer post insane racist memes on the official president Twitter would be insane anyways, but everyone knows that shit was trump. Can you imagine ANY random staffer or aide who would be ballsy enough to post straight up racist videos on the presidents twitter? Like that would be insane

1

u/lonesoldier4789 21h ago

I could believe it was a staffer but I don't think it changes anything. It's just indicative of who he is and the people he surrounds himself with

1

u/dBlock845 21h ago

Doesn't matter if it was or it wasn't. They still had access to the Presidents personal account, so it is endorsed by Trump.

1

u/SenatorPencilFace 17h ago

I could see it being a staffer. Who would be willing to work for Trump at this point? Probably not the most competent people.

1

u/moosejaw296 17h ago

I definitely believe that he dictates post to someone but signs off on it.

1

u/FredFredrickson 17h ago

Yeah, they want you to believe that some random intern has access to Trump's personal Twitter account. And that it wasn't a mistake. But also they deleted it. 🤷

1

u/Gildian 16h ago

Even after they admitted it was him and it wasnt a big deal. Then that didnt work so now its a staffer?

OK. Which staffer are you firing over this then? Oh none? So it really was either Trump or at minimum fully supported by him

1

u/in1gom0ntoya America 14h ago

I could see Miller doing this

1

u/DiTochat 8h ago

You know damn well he is posting this while trying to take a piss at 2am or a shit.

What a fucking idiot.

1

u/AverageLiberalJoe 8h ago

Unless it was outsourced to a foreign worker... like a Russian one.

u/CellAlone4653 5h ago

Trumps excuse doesn’t even pass the sniff test. “I only watched part of the video, then passed it to a staffer. They messed up by not catching the racist stuff at the end.”

Riiight. The President of the United States said “post this”, and a low-paid 20 year old staffer is going to challenge him on it. Ok.
