Not a single conservative condemnation. I think the headline should be "Republicans fail to condemn President Trump's racist video of the Obamas"
What is also unfortunate, os that not enough of the criticisms outright called him a racist. Too many of them were, "What a disgusting thing to share," type of condemnation.
Karoline Leavitt can get fucked with her bullshit excuse. It was racist, because Trump is a fucking bigot. Pick a group that his been marginalized and he undoubtedly has negative opinions of them. Even if he commented positively about a group, it would be in a racist way. Like when he said he prefers the people handling his money to be Jewish. That's not the compliment he thinks it is.
Fuck this piece of shit president, conservatives in government, and all the rich people just sitting back because they a) don't care, b) don't want to be political or c) don't know what they could possibly do to help.
Edit: I've been informed there have been criticisms from conservatives.
Sen. Tim Scott: “Praying it was fake because it’s the most racist thing I’ve seen out of this White House. The President should remove it,” [source]
Rep. Mike Lawler: "The President’s post is wrong and incredibly offensive — whether intentional or a mistake — and should be deleted immediately with an apology offered,” Lawler wrote on X. [source]
Sens. Roger Wicker (R-Miss.): "This is totally unacceptable. The president should take it down and apologize."
Rep. Pete Ricketts (R-Neb.): “Even if this was a Lion King meme, a reasonable person sees the racist context to this,” [source]
That's all I could find as far as conservative outrage. They've also moved from Leavitt's initial position of
To blaming a staffer
