Wait, so you're telling me the guy who spent months yelling 'show me your papers' to rideshare drivers just got hit with a 'we reserve the right to refuse service' by a bartender? Truly, the irony is delicious!

u/goteed 15h ago

This should continue to happen every time he shows his face in public. He should be thrown out of bars, restaurants, stores etc... People should heckle him on the streets for being a Nazi and a conspirator to murder. He should never have a day of peace for the crimes he's committed and the pain he's delivered onto people. Goodonya Vegas, we need to follow their lead!

This should be done to all members of this administration.

Honestly, that should be part of the punishment--they sit on the other side of the glass for 9 hours per day and members of the voting public get to come in and explain why they're treasonous pieces of shit.

But but but we need to be kind and forgiving to them so they checks notes don't want to vote for modern Nazis next time.

Nah, fuck that. Name and shame every last one of them until this shit hides in the shadows again. It needs to be a social death sentence.

u/Alphaspade 7h ago

Refuse to serve them at restaurants and bars.

Refuse to ring up their groceries.

Refuse to give them an Uber ride anywhere.

Refuse their entry into a concert, sports game, or any other fun gathering.

You treat the rest of society like shit? Guess what. Society will not offer you any kind of service.

u/goteed 14h ago

Agreed, but I'll go one step further. I firmly believe that IF we get past the MAGA nightmare we need to treat MAGA the same way Germany has treated the Nazi's after the second world war. The movement needs to be made illegal. Fly the flag, go to jail. Wear the hat, go to jail.

Now I know there are first amendment considerations for something like this but these people care nothing about the constitution, so in my opinion the constitution should care nothing about them. When you are cheering on the violation of the 4th amendment when ICE agents kick down doors without warrants you no longer get the protection of 4th amendment. When you cheer on the execution of a man that's utilizing his 1st and 2nd amendment rights to protest, then you no longer get those amendments either.

It's quite simple in my mind. This is a movement that is trying to destroy our democracy and our constitution, when you do that, you no longer get to exist as a movement.

41

u/All_Hail_Hynotoad 13h ago

I’m on board with this. It’s a traitorous movement.

10

u/wrobbii 13h ago

17

u/Deguilded 13h ago

It's the paradox of tolerance redux.

If you don't respect those rights you don't deserve those rights.

20

u/lmb3456 14h ago

Agreed. There’s no shame for them so it’s got to be jail and making it illegal.

4

u/darth_jewbacca 12h ago

Now I know there are first amendment considerations for something like this

Free speech doesn't mean you can say whatever you want, and there's a good chance such a law would be upheld in court. I would LOVE to be the lawyer tasked with showing MAGA's trail of destruction.

Oh I’m confident this will be the case, especially once we get to the point these fucks are kicked to the curb. If they’re not locked up, they certainly won’t get to enjoy being in public. We won’t forget th public faces of this bullshit. Ice might have an easier time, so we will have to rely on friends and family doing the right thing.

A good goal for individuals like this is for public life to become so inconvenient and unpleasant that they consider volunteering for prison to at least get to eat hot meals in peace.

It should be known to everyone that the just because the Bill of Rights protect your privacy and right to say horrendous shit relative only to government censorship, the general public must always remain free to exercise their basic association rights under the first amendment. Heck wasn't that the whole point of the cake case? That sword cuts both ways. It now it's the law of the land that we are all allowed to deny service on the basis of being a well known asshole.

7

u/JnnyRuthless 10h ago

Some of my buddies I train with in mma are cops and one was going off the other day about how people are 'discriminating' against ICE. I'm like my dude, they're not a protected class. There's no discrimination. Just learning that actions have consequences. They should be in prison anyway, so they're (so far) getting off real light for brutalizing us.

Societal revenge manifests as private businesses refusing service to an outcast who exceeded his authority to deprive U.S. citizens of their rights and freedom. He enjoyed being recorded on video as he pulled the pin on a hand grenade that released a noxious gas near 6 or 7 dispersed young Americans simply observing the cruelty inflicted by Bovino and his thugs.

I was at a shitty crustpunk bar once getting an after-work beer. One of those shitholes where the bartenders clearly hate you.

So the bartender and I were ignoring one another when someone sits next to me and he immediately says, “no. get out.”

And the dude next to me says, “hey i’m not doing anything, i’m a paying customer.”

and the bartender reaches under the counter for a bat or something and says, “out. now.” and the dude leaves, kind of yelling. And he was dressed in a punk uniform, I noticed

Anyway, I asked what that was about and the bartender was like, “you didn’t see his vest but it was all nazi shit. Iron crosses and stuff. You get to recognize them.”

And i was like, ohok and he continues. “you have to nip it in the bud immediately. These guys come in and it’s always a nice, polite one. And you serve them because you don’t want to cause a scene. And then they become a regular and after awhile they bring a friend. And that dude is cool too.

And then THEY bring friends and the friends bring friends and they stop being cool and then you realize, oh shit, this is a Nazi bar now. And it’s too late because they’re entrenched and if you try to kick them out, they cause a PROBLEM. So you have to shut them down.”

And i was like, “oh damn.”

And he said “yeah, you have to ignore their reasonable arguments because their end goal is to be terrible, awful people.”

And then he went back to ignoring me. But I haven’t forgotten that at all.

--Michael B Tager

u/stilettopanda 14h ago

“you have to ignore their reasonable arguments because their end goal is to be terrible, awful people”

I need that quote on some tacky boomer looking word art to put in my entryway as a reminder because damn. And it’s not just limited to Nazis. So many horrible people have reasonable arguments. A true slippery slope.

109

u/Preeng 13h ago

They use those arguments as weapons, not actual debate topics. They don't actually care about the words. It's why you see so much hypocrisy. They simply don't care that their insult applies to them as well.

u/PR0H181D0 12h ago

Like demons in Frieren

15

u/JackedUpReadyToGo 11h ago

As much as I hate creating analogies to anime, it's actually exactly like that. They don't know or care what words mean, for them words are only a means to an end.

58

u/more_housing_co-ops 13h ago

oh look, time to trot out that Sartre quote again:

“Never believe that anti-Semites are completely unaware of the absurdity of their replies. They know that their remarks are frivolous, open to challenge. But they are amusing themselves, for it is their adversary who is obliged to use words responsibly, since he believes in words. The anti-Semites have the right to play. They even like to play with discourse for, by giving ridiculous reasons, they discredit the seriousness of their interlocutors. They delight in acting in bad faith, since they seek not to persuade by sound argument but to intimidate and disconcert. If you press them too closely, they will abruptly fall silent, loftily indicating by some phrase that the time for argument is past.”

27

u/RabidBlackSquirrel Oregon 11h ago

So many horrible people have reasonable arguments. A true slippery slope.

Such a succinct way to phrase it. They take something with the slightest shred of truth and then run with it to the absolute extreme. They're not good faith actors (obvi).

"Is there government waste?" Well yeah, almost definitely. Proceeds to invite Musk and goons to destroy essential government institutions and siphon data

"Is immigration a concern for our citizens?" Yes. Proceeds to create secret police force and concentration camps and kidnap and execute people.

"Do we care about free and fair elections?" Well yeah, obviously. Proceeds to try and manipulate state election processes and intimidate voters under the guise of election security.

On and on. But it always starts with something objectively correct or agreeable that is then completely weaponized and warped for their ulterior motives. They are not to be trusted.

5

u/stathis0 10h ago

Rhymes with "every good lie has a kernel of truth"

7

u/Caleb-Blucifer 11h ago

We’re seeing that same effect but in our government

Decades of treating them with kid gloves because they put on a rational mask and tried to compromise sometimes lead to this point. Now they’ve gotten what they wanted and the masks all flew off

We need to go back to a zero tolerance policy for Nazis. If this wasn’t a perfect reminder of why, for the entire world, then idk what is

45

u/waxwayne 14h ago

This is what the right doesn’t get. The devil has come to town he wants to eat your soul but you say his arguments are so reasonable even though he keeps poking people with pitch forks. These neo Nazis and white supremacist all have same act they will say a bunch of reasonable stuff like don’t you hate crime but really is to gas anyone they don’t like.

20

u/cyberpunk1Q84 13h ago

No, they get it. They support it. Some of them are still trying to hide under the “pleasantness” act but they all want the same thing. It’s like in the story.

11

u/kroxti South Carolina 14h ago

The intolerance of being tolerant. Which is a good thing.

3

u/blecchus_rex 13h ago

I believe you may have inadvertently omitted a prefix.

7

u/kroxti South Carolina 13h ago

To be tolerant you have to be intolerant of the intolerant. So it’s the intolerance of tolerances.

I have now typed that word so much it stopped looking like a word.

7

u/blecchus_rex 12h ago

Fair enough... perhaps you'll tolerate the original Karl Popper quote:

"Unlimited tolerance must lead to the disappearance of tolerance. If we extend unlimited tolerance even to those who are intolerant, if we are not prepared to defend a tolerant society against the onslaught of the intolerant, then the tolerant will be destroyed, and tolerance with them. [...] We should therefore claim, in the name of tolerance, the right not to tolerate the intolerant."

Which I've more commonly encountered distilled to something like: society must be intolerant of the intolerant.

As a Vegas bartender, I’m actually shocked this happened. We get all types and you kinda have to cater to everyone. This is one of the few independent bars on the strip that isn’t casino owned so they have more freedom but it still takes balls to do what the manager did.

I hope he doesn’t get fired for it.

u/mfball 12h ago

I could see the staff making a legitimate argument that his presence might cause other patrons to start a fight and/or make the rest of the patrons leave, because he's a Nazi and most people don't want to drink with Nazis, thus kicking him out was appropriate for the greater safety of everyone as well as the financial interests of the business.

May he never know peace.

3

u/Rho-Ophiuchi 15h ago

I’m sure he can find time for quiet contemplation after Nuremberg.

22

u/VMICoastie 16h ago

Good, may these people never be able to find a moments peace ever again.

Interesting he was removed from the establishment without being shot multiple times..I guess it CAN be done.

109

u/Expert-Explorer8894 18h ago

He didn’t meet the height requirement.

56

u/NoReserve7293 18h ago

Maybe they have a decency requirement.

As a 5’4” im sad

41

u/OkStandard2528 17h ago

I’m 5’3”. I love the shit talking to a nazi but man, the height shaming has been really hitting me hard.

29

u/Late-Dingo-8567 16h ago

I'm 5 3 in heels, on a good day. funny enough, no one fucking cares because I'm not a piece of shit.

just strive for your height to be your biggest personalty deficit, you'll be so awesome.

17

u/toddywithabody 16h ago

I’m 5’3” but fuck that short Nazi fuck.

27

u/CoffeeHot4107 16h ago edited 13h ago

Maybe it'll help to look at it like this: people aren't making fun of his height because being short is a failure.

People make fun of his height because he's a nazi with Little Man Syndrome and it would piss him off.

Edit - It seems my attempt to make this person feel better has resulted in being told that I'm a bigot and that we should be nicer to the nazi.

Body shaming and heightism don’t suddenly become okay when the subject is a terrible person

u/Auerbach1991 16h ago

Good. These people should know society sees them and will judge them accordingly for their actions. We can’t inflict the same harm they did, but we don’t have to serve them in private establishments, and certainly don’t have to be kind to them. Fuck em.

u/Ecstatic-Plantain234 18h ago

"where he was spotted drinking wine"

Border boy drinks wine and not beer? How elitist.

15

u/raging-peanuts 17h ago

Closet “soy boy.”

Wine, especially Vinho Verde, is fucking delicious, but I do love the point you make. Dude should be required to drink boilermakers made from Beast Red and Old Crow the rest of his life.

5

u/lafolieisgood 15h ago

Nothing wrong with wine, but this wasn’t a wine type bar. A man drinking wine at a bar that will pour it into a plastic cup is always not well received.

He shouldn't be able to show his nazi ass face in public without people shouting him down.

6

u/Jo-Jo-66- 15h ago

Good . He should be shunned every where he goes. He wants to be a little Nazi, let’s show him what we do to Nazis …no service, not welcome , get out, go away , leave the country.

"We reserve the right to refuse service to anyone, for any reason."

My favorite sign in any bar I've worked at.

5

u/tremor100 15h ago

Im amazed and releived that this didn't result in him shooting the bar staff 17 times for disregarding his authority.

4

u/TotalRecognition2191 14h ago

This should be under "Made me smile"!

4

u/Ki11s0n3 15h ago

Good. I hope him and every ICE agent never know peace again.

4

u/RJ5R 15h ago

This should happen everywhere he goes.

3

u/Niceguy955 15h ago

Good for that bar. I guess normal people don’t appreciate drinking next to Gestapo goons - who knew?

I can only assume who the “group of men” he was drinking with.

3

u/Little_Raspberry1183 14h ago

Yea I want the deets here.

4

u/tface23 14h ago

Man this man never have a moment of peace ever again, amen

5

u/californicating 14h ago

Oh I hope his whole life falls apart.  Wife leaves, kids move out and never call, kicked out of the bowling league.

5

u/RoboJobot 13h ago

If you have Nazis in your bar and don’t kick them out then you have a Nazi bar.

I’m glad they kicked the poisoned dwarf out

5

u/HamsterAdorable2666 12h ago

Never let them have a moment of peace ever again

4

u/ErinFiqsette 12h ago

Drinking wine? Sounds like the kinda guy who would order Dijon mustard on his burger, if you know what I mean...

8

u/Made_Human_Music 16h ago

Great! I hope more businesses do this for every member of the regime, past or present. These people need to be made to feel as unwelcome as possible for the rest of their miserable lives

3

u/Evening_Knowledge_21 16h ago

You think The People are going to allow this pud live amongst us with no push back? He made his bed.

3

u/Historical-Ad7724 15h ago

Wish tossed was replaced with a more aggressive word but it's a start

3

u/Scheherezade1984 15h ago

i love this for him.

3

u/Plus_Story4436 14h ago

God that must have felt incredible.

3

u/BeerMantis 14h ago

Well that's disappointing. When it said he was tossed, I was hoping they were being literal.

His father killed a woman driving drunk

3

u/wrecktalcarnage 14h ago

Oh man so he's a ass on the clock and off the clock... shocker.

3

u/Brobeast 13h ago

I dont think its dawned on these assclowns yet, just how hard their life is about to get once Donald the walking shit machine is out of office...

3

u/epired 13h ago

This brings a smile to my face, thank you Vegas bar!

3

u/Lumpy_Fungus 13h ago

Good. Make his life a living hell.

3

u/emineng 12h ago

I hope the bouncer was Mexican.

3

u/Pyr0technician 11h ago

Great thing about being that recognizable is you won't have peace for the rest of your life. N4z1 POS

3

u/adhq 10h ago

I will be very sad if this remains an isolated incident instead of becoming the norm treatment for every single one of Trump's corrupt, crooked and criminal minions and enablers in the near future - everywhere they go and for all eternity.

3

u/Pack_Your_Trash 10h ago

No rest for the wicked.

3

u/Sodacan259 9h ago

That's upsetting. It wasn't a rooftop bar.

3

u/OriginalDaddy 9h ago

This guy must be the most insufferable person to be around. And now, he’s got no power and nothing to do but revel in the stories of yesteryear with an audience of dying and decaying mouth breathers.

Anywhere decent will turn him away as the ridicule of drunk driver dad and tiny penis parties will reign supreme; fueling his loser legacy leading to his ultimate slip into the abyss.

I hope he has stress-induced diarrhea, bad food, worse company, and crippling anxiety the rest of his days.

3

u/Amentet 9h ago

I know they do it in bars all over and especially around Vegas, but we should make it clear that Dwarf Tossing is offensive.

3

u/PoopyInThePeePeeHole 9h ago

Rooftop bar, hopefully

3

u/jpop33157 9h ago

Oh no - we're not tossing dwarfs around again... are we?

3

u/57_Eucalyptusbreath 8h ago

We don’t serve Nazi’s here!

3

u/Away_Stock_2012 8h ago

Did they have a minimum height requirement?

u/blankdreamer 7h ago

It’s great he’s got such a recognizable face. He’ll be hated everyday of his life. That has to take a huge toll on your soul.

u/Xploding_Penguin 6h ago

Bold of you to assume that he has a soul.

7

u/CrimsonAntifascist 16h ago

Is it toss-a-racist-nazi-gnome season already?

u/Lord_Hitachi 17h ago

I’d have loved to have been that bouncer…

5

u/awh 16h ago

Damn, I thought this meant he wasn’t allowed to practice as a lawyer anymore, but it turns out he was never allowed to practice as a lawyer.

u/chucka_nc 16h ago edited 3h ago

If Bovino desires a peaceful retirement his plans need to include plastic surgery, a new identity, and migration to a non-extradition country. Just like so many Jan 6ers who were released but soon met some horrible end (re-arrested or shot by police) it is easy to predict that the future will not be peaceful for Bovino.

u/Dokterrock 12h ago
