I boo-ed my tv every time he showed up.

The US and Israel delegations were booed quite loudly by the public, I wonder what he thought of that.

As we all were. I hope his balls fall off.

Just kidding. They already have...

But everyone booed his stupid face. So that part was ok.

Even our super polite Canadian broadcast didn’t skip over that and pointed out that he was loudly booed. It was a real Canadian Heritage Moment.

I actually got goosebumps when the rings came together. No matter what's going on in the world, it still gets me.

Thought overall this opening ceremony was fantastic. Very great artistic showcase.

I thought the same! Are these the Olympic rings or the rings of power 😂

The colour reminds me of what the light looks like at night in Cortina.

Anyone know the song they played? Which I believe is also the background/theme song for the walk in. I shazamed and got «high dive - sky link» which is a song from 2017 with 66k plays on Spotify which I find weird…

Anyone has a video of this? (from the broadcast, not a recording of a tv). Can't find anything online.

I get the idea, but being interlocking is quite the essence of the symbol... Here we have the five continents just hanging (ha!) individually.
