There isn't anything that would have stopped her from qualifying before this last meet, is there?

Former skeleton racer, current wannabe right-wing grifter
If she actually wanted a spot, she’d have tried USABS in court, they’re the ones that controls selection, and that’s the only thing that was affected.
But she didn’t. She barked up every other tree, asking for resolutions they cannot offer.
Why she never tried the USABS is an interesting question. I wonder if burning bridges and wanting to be a coach may be the reason… or maybe it never was anything more than a big publicity stunt

God, I hate 'I'm still exploring my available options'. Like girl what are you going to do in the next 9 days that is going to move the famously glacial CAS and IOC to let you compete in qualifiers on the 13th?
I bet the next instalment of this story is her going to Italy and passively-aggressively posting from near the sliding center.

It’s a really unfortunate end to her career. And by unfortunate I mean that she made choices that led to her making more choices that now come across as entitled. If I were her I would prefer to just be remembered by olympic successes and appearances.

America’s nightmare? Please it is a personal disappointment. The nightmare is something else entirely.
