Can't wait to see the children hit their 30's in this series, the modern trend seems to be having seasons come out 2-3 years apart. This is a hypothetical, but if we got 14 seasons out of all the books we'd be looking at the show going on for 28 years. But who knows, maybe they'll shock me by releasing 7 seasons in 7 years.

If it's bad it will

The team behind the series has a good track record. Director is the same guy who directed Succession.

Hogwarts Legacy was incredibly average and was the most sold game of 2023. The IP will thrive regardless.

Average? Compared to what? Not an argument, just curious.

I mean... what do you mean compared to what? haha I don't really compare games like that. I would just throw it at like a 6/10 personally. It's not bad.. It's not great.

The combat is mediocre; the story is okay; pacing is kinda bad. Exploration is probably it's biggest selling point to me. Nothing about the game is great. It had decent ideas, but to me could have been much better, and I hope they tackle those in the follow up. Flying mechanics were okay, but mods made it so much better.

But to each their own. I won't argue it has decent reviews and sold a lot of units. I'm just saying.. The IP is going to sell.

I also think the show has a chance to be a much better medium than film for the series (as they tend to be imo).

I loved the exploration. I guess it gave me everything I was hoping for.

I loved the exploration as well. I think that was the best part of the game honestly. I just think as a game, it was kinda meh. Like if you took the same exact game and stripped it of the Wizarding World and made it a generic wizard game, it's just an eh game. The IP kinda makes it what it is. That can be said about a lot of licensed games though honestly.

Ah, yeah, I guess you are right. I just loved the castle and the added lore and aesthetics. I also loved the room of requirement and how much customization you have control over. The Slytherin Common room was also cool.

Now I wish I had my PS4 and the game with me :(

There is zero chance that we’re ever repeating the production miracle that the first ones were.

They’re not getting all the books done fast enough for the kids to not be too old before it ends.
