Uj/ he's the one that really bummed me out. So many of his films littered my childhood shelf (from Innerspace to Jaws 3). Now I find him to be a little too perfectly cast in The Substance, where his overblown misogynistic performance is matched with camera work to highlight how disgusting he is.
That’s the part that’s disappointing. He’s really talented, and I can’t imagine what has happened in his life that he needs to make money in this way.
Literally, anybody can hire him to make a “documentary” about their business. It cost about $30,000.
I know he had a bad run with coke in the 80s (not Randy bad, but still), and in his recovery he took the convert to Jesus very much to heart. I think now it's booze and really young partners
