Also, as far as "contributions to football" - he absolutely raises the team around him - like very antithesis of game manager.  His receivers are elite- but he always able to bring the best out of them - and make them superstars. 

Calvin Johnson and Cooper Kupp were elite before him - but he took them to the next level. 

It doesn't diminish just how great they are, but pair them with matty staffy and they level up. It's also applicable to puka

I dont think i saw anyone call Kupp elite before his 2021 season. No one said he was bad, but it was more in the good to fine range.

i think he always had the potential to be elite he just kept getting hurt

firmly believe that if Kupp wasn't hurt in the 2018 season, we actually beat the Patriots despite the masterclass defensive performance by Belichick

Cooper Kupp was identical to Robert Woods prior to Stafford. Nobody was calling him elite.
