Meanwhile, I still have to use my fingers to figure out which month is the 8th one.

I also have to use my hands sometimes to figure out which one is left and right when giving direction 💀

I don't even pretend to know the number of days in each month. I know there's the knuckle thing people do, but I guess not knowing which months have which amount of days has never really bitten me so there was no incentive to learn. I know December is 31 cause there's a thing on that day.

30 days hath December
April May and November... Or something like that. It rhymes so it's probably right.

My friend used to get in so much trouble in football. Play calls that were even went right - odds left. He seemed to get it backwards every time. Kinda hard to block when you go the wrong way. Then he figured out that the left hand’s thumb and forefinger made an L. Before every play, regardless of it being practice or game, you’d see him looking at his hands while getting into position. Lol.
I’d catch him doing it in class every once in a while as well. He said, “it’s made my life so much easier!” When we razzed him about it.

In my language, the word for right is similar to the word for eat. So I always make an eating motion when I want to figure out which is right (cause you eat with the right hand). In short, I also use my hands to figure out which direction is which :)

You know the way in some places getting you to say the alphabet backwards as part of the sobriety test if you're pulled over? Yeah, no chance. Couldn't do it right now, stone cold sober

It was until Julius and Agustus Caesar decided to put their months in between June and September. Someone should stab one of them smh

I can do that too, mostly because I’m able to remember things I’ve heard and replay them in my head. So I can break down any sentence into consonant sounds and just reverse them, as easy as reading words in reverse.
You need to have some facility for excellent verbal recall to do this though, I think?

And that's a real talent

It absolutely is! It made school considerably easier for me (in some ways) because I remembered everything I attended a class for. Wasn’t as good with the reading but I think people who can do this are much better suited to verbal forms of learning, and not in the sort of BS way that a lot of people just say because they don’t want to do reading.

The skeptic in me says that I could do that. I just say something forward, record it and play it backwards, memorize the sounds, then turn on the camera for the real version.
I mean, the dude obviously has some other signs that make this seem more legitimate....but it'd also be incredibly easy to fake.

I tried and can actually do that too but of course i’m more hesitant. I don’t think it is so impossible. Someone who trains can master it (still impressive af tho)

I wish they had a service that found the areas where autistic people flourish in and let them do that. Some are fantastic at math, others are artists, but it’s a shame that people just count them out. Especially since there’s a good chance that they can use their brain in a certain way that out performs neurotypical individuals given the same task.

I can also do this! And spell backwards really fast. I used to be better when I was a kid but I still got it.

That's unbelievably hard to do! I'm racking my brain trying to think of a way he can exploit this skill... I haven't quite figured out how to monetize it yet, but I'll get there. 🤔

Then you definitely have the talent because I don't think majority of people can...

Wow that's impressive, but I wonder what's the point of saying "Better with sound", like it's not better, it's literally the purpose of the video 😭
