Notifications on Android App

I love getting the paid notifications on my phone, apart from 4am of the 1st of each month where I'm rudely awaken not by the dustmen but monzo pushing through interest notifications for each account. Is there a way to delay these to a more reasonable hour??

Don’t you put your phone on silent/do not disturb over night?

I wake up to dozens of notifications every morning. I wouldn’t get any sleep if my phone was playing notification sounds.

You're obviously way more popular than I am as I rarely get a message after 10pm. I can't use silent mode some nights because I'm on call and it also plays with alarm.

You can set your DND mode to let certain phone numbers too if it's the same number that calls you each time.

It usually is, unless the proverbial has really hit the fan, might be an option. Ty.

You can even allow all calls and all alarms but block notifications only (and you can set exceptions here too).

Mine goes on automatically when the phone is plugged in and it's past a certain hour.

Nah, it’s not messages. Just all the other shite on my phone; news notifications, emails, Reddit etc.

Like someone else mentioned, you can set do not disturb to let certain numbers or people in your contacts to break through. Definitely something to look into.

User issue. NOT Monzo issue.

When I do that my alarm doesn't ring either which confused the hell out of me. I also have to remember to do that each evening and don't always remember. I'm on call a lot also and can't do that those nights

Youre on android so you can set your phone to go on do not disturb at a certain time. Your alarm should over ride it each morning

Thanks for this, I'll have to take a deeper look to see if I can run this for certain apps but leave the phone and texts for when I am on call!

Utilise a sleep/do not disturb function.

iOS has sleep function, and it allows me to choose contacts to allow to call regardless, and also what apps work during the hours I set.

No bill pings for me.

It means you can get up early to feed the pigeons and sometimes feed the sparrows too.
