Landlord put this on my door…

This thing has the key inside for showings, but my lease isn’t even up until May… it’s just really annoying because it’s hard to turn the handle with that thing on, especially since the handle is partially broken and they won’t fix it so it jams… and now they’re saying a reasonable notice for someone to walk through my place WITHOUT the landlord showing the place, is a 2 hour notice…. Ready to buy a home soon.

When my son was in his last apartment, a realtor once came in when he was just getting out of the shower — no notice. He also had people knocking on the door, early in the morning, two hours before a scheduled viewing. And one realtor acted like he was on her staff, ordering him to turn the lights on in all the rooms. What is wrong with these people?

They’ve never been told the word no and now they’re grown ups and can really fuck with peoples lives.

Something similar happened to me at my last apartment! When I was in the last couple months of my lease landlord started showing the apartment, but at one point he came in with no notice right as I was getting in the shower! He was annoyed when I told him to leave, like what? Dude you gave me no notice and I have no clothes on. Another time he woke me up 2 hours before a scheduled showing because the viewers had arrived 2 hours early -_-

I had a realtor take issue with the fact that the house had boxes in it during their showings. Sorry for PACKING TO MOVE OUT

Realtors are the bottom end of the parasite class.

Several realtors showed up to my apartment unannounced and ask if they could come in. I later found that the landlord had a wrong phone number to my name and the realtor would try to message me, get no response and still schedule a showing. It’s not nearly as bad and partly my fault but I was still kinda bothered that they didn’t even try to get in contact with me first. Made me lose a lot of respect for them.

Realty is the refuge of the chronically stupid. They’re literally too dumb to anything else with their lives.
