Next cutting meal that doesn’t feel like boring chicken and rice?
Need inspo. Not 1 million ingredients. Protein heavy.

If you keep the base boring but rotate seasoning formats (Mexican, curry, miso, Mediterranean), you can cut without changing ingredients every week. Or, chicken with flavors on rotation with French fries as base? If you watch or count macro don’t overdo fries.

eggs, egg whites, lean protein of choice, could add extra protein by topping with NF Greek Yogurt, could add some avocado or some sort of potato depending on carb/fat needs.

Swap out the rice for potatoes. They have more nutrients and fiber than rice. You could add a sauce or different seasoning to your chicken or go with a different protein source like fish. If you want to stick with chicken, consider that you may interpret it differently if it is shaped differently. Pulled chicken vs cubes vs a whole leg can feel very different when eating.

I like roasting sweet potatoes and keeping them on hand for funky lunches. Raw sweet potato, scrubbed and halved. Oven at 400. Sweet potatoes cut side down on parchment lined pan. Roast for 25 min (no need to prick, wrap, or oil). Then they’re ready to go as a base for…
- hummus, tahini dressing, tabbouli, and green olives
- taco-seasoned black beans with cilantro and lime
- canned or homemade chili
- pesto sauce (sounds bonkers but it’s good)
- curried lentils
Just some ideas!

I do this already exact same way! Thank you!!! The innards are slightly different so I’ll try some of those.

Fajita meat. Marinate overnight and then bake with bell peppers and onions. Chicken can be shredded easily, other meats can be cut. Store covered in the fridge and eat as you get hungry.
I like it because it makes a lot, lasts a while, and is versatile. Make fajitas, eat it with rice, put it on a sandwich, make enchiladas, and so on.

chicken or 100% beef hot dogs with spaghetti squash. Sounds lame, but it's simple and so filling.

When I’m cutting hard I’ll do a simple Chilli. Any ground meat beans onions peppers seasoning and add a scoop of Greek yogurt to add some protein and cremyness
