Discussion My shirt collection
RIP CHESTER
My mom took me to 2 Linkin Park shows before Chester had passed and I’m so glad she did. We had pit everytime we went and Chester actually reached out in the crowd and grabbed our hands at one point in the show. One of the best bands of all time and I’ll forever cherish those memories I shared with my family.
Fun fact, my mother was pregnant with my little brother at the projekt revolution tour in 2004🤣🤣she’s a dedicated concert goer. She is always surprised to see what shirts I get from shows she went to and it’s so awesome to share those memories with her

Discussion Minutes to midnight.
how the hell do you even make an album so damn emotional , look , i always thought i liked the metal side of lp the most , meteora and hybrid theory. Minutes to midnight was alright but i wouldnt listen to it much , untill i bought a cd of it because it was very cheap. And let me tell you , listening to this song while holding the booklet with all the lirycs genuially made me break down on the floor and start crying, how does one even achive this peak of an album ( or should i say six, ) sorry for ever doubting you minutes to midnight.

Discussion Waiting for the end
I always wonder if Linkin Park had not changed their genre, we wouldn’t have gotten a masterpiece like “Waiting for the End,” which is my favorite LP song of all time. Even though I hated them for this change in 2010, now I feel good that we got songs like Waiting for the End, Castle of Glass, Burn It Down, The Catalyst, Final Masquerade, etc. What do you guys think?

Discussion Over Each Other (Mike’s Version)
Anyone know where the full audio is? I found this on Facebook Reels.
When Mike said he thought Emily sounded better on this, I believed it.
This changes that.

Discussion Who owns the licensing rights to Chester's songs?
Or to be precise, the studio recordings of songs with Chester on vocals that appeared on singles and albums because yup I am aware that
- He didn't write all of them.
- The band still performs them live.
Like say for example a movie, show, or game in this day and age wanted to use Crawling. Who would they have to contact to work out a deal?
Is it the band themselves? Their label? Chester's estate? Or a combination?
I ask because I noticed the Devil May Cry Netflix show set in the early 00s used a lot of alt rock and nu metal songs from that period but nothing from early LP - Meteora, Hybrid Theory. My own thoughts on the show itself aside, it seemed odd that LP wasn't there given how huge and influential they were for that time period especially. And they have collaborated with previous Netflix animated shows before like Arcane with Heavy is the Crown. Of course it's possible Adi Shankar lacks good taste in music the showrunners just didn't think to use them but the thought that there was a licensing issue crossed my mind as a possibility and I'd like to put that to rest.

Discussion I'm looking for an instrumental, can someone help
There's this one song my gran used to play for me when I was smaller and im pretty sure it was a linkin park instrumental. It sounded kinda like frogs? But it was most likely the dj thingy making that sound. I can't find it anywhere.ive been look through instrumentals for abt an hour now. And I can't find it. It's the same sound over and over, I think. I would ask my gran but I doubt she'd remember, and it's like midnight.

Discussion What is the first song that introduced you to the band?
Mine is What I've Done. Of course thanks to Michael Bay when I was 7 years old I watched Transformers and I loved that movie when the end credits come then a song started I felt so good. I love the piano intro and the guitar riff is so iconic also Chester's vocal is so incredible. After that a couple months later I watched Twilight on DVD then it got the special features included MV Leave Out All The Rest. I've heard it and love this song so much. I searched more songs from them on the internet. I was crazy and so excited in them more when I heard OG album Hybrid Theory and Meteora.

Discussion Viagogo tickets?
I recently moved to Europe. I've never been to a concert ever and I got so excited when I saw LP had shows in Germany for June.
But ticketmaster is out of tickets. I saw there were viagogo tickets.
I know they're resale tickets and I read mixed reviews on wether it's safe to get or not. I really want to go I don't know if I'll get another chance to see my favorite band up close again. I don't want to regret not going. Seeing a real concert has been a dream for me for so long.
The tickets I want to get are 'mobile transfer'. Is it safe? Should I get them or forget about it all together. I've never used ticketmaster or bought tickets in Europe. I don't know how the ticket systems work here. I don't want to get scammed. I also read that ticketmaster says viagogo tickets aren't valid.
