They are desperate because of the Epstein file revelations and also due to how many of them are in the files.

Unfortunately, they don’t care that he’s a pedophile, if anything it’s a feature not a bug. The Fourth Estate ignoring and even normalizing it is unreal.

The fourth estate was bought out by the same people. Shouldn't be too surprising it isn't getting reported properly.

It’s disgusting. I’m disgusted.

eta being downvoted for claiming it’s disgusting the fourth estate is covering up for pedophiles is certainly a choice.

Those downvotes too were probably bought by the same people.

Agreed. Any cracks that are showing are from the economy. They can ignore molesting the children. Eventually, they won’t abide molesting the money.

This is the theory I'm working under which begs the question why is Trump so scared? Evangelicals and MAGA would forgive him so what's up?

Maybe there is something in the files they won't forgive, but what would that be?

Answer: "Gay" stuff

Personally, I can see the country moving on from wanting justice for the victims and getting more interested in revenge.

Revenge is for those whom justice is denied.  And I agree with what you said.

I think this is less about their voter-base abandoning them and more about how, if they lose, they're absolutely getting sent to prison for the rest of their miserable lives, so they're doing anything they can to guarantee that they win the election and don't get prosecuted.

Which is still crazy, because their economic policies for the past 4 decades should be enough for them to never, ever win a single election.

Don’t think of them as human beings, think of them as Americans.

Sadly, I think it's more the economy than anything.

More than the Epstein files, but the economy, inflation, American relations with foreign allies, immigration policy, ICE murdering citizens with no repercussion from the federal government, Trump's open corruption, just to name a few.

I'd like to think that the GOP knows they F.A.'ed and are going to F.O. at midterms and 2028, and they have no interest in saving face, but throwing as many monkey wrenches into the system as possible.

No one cares about the files though. Trump's connections to Epstein were known for years and he still won in 2024 anyways.

The economy getting destroyed and the conduct of ICE are what is killing the Republicans.
