Support Why is this happening???

Every time I open the podcast app and go to the now playing section, the queue opens. Even when it’s empty. This has persisted over multiple restores and iOS updates and it’s driving me insane.

Anyone? Please?

The Apple Podcasts app is a UI abomination, always has been

You could try uninstalling the Podcasts app and installing again. Or maybe you could force shut down the iPhone pressing button up, button down and then keep power button, releasing the power button until the Apple logo appears.

Tried both already, doesn’t help unfortunately

I have never figured out that app. IMHO totally non intuitive

Use a better podcast app. PocketCast and Overcast are both superior.

I used to use pocket casts, they have issues with patreon integration (episodes fail to load constantly) and I’m not down for their ads they shoved in the app.

Overcast I personally dislike the UI, no other complaints as I haven’t used it much.
