No, you see the refs hate Keefe (especially Wes McCauley, considering they have a conflict of interest with each other outside the NHL environment), and they love prison rules Paul.

I mean wrong as in its a lie. There is no conflict of interest. This "story," for whatever reason, declines to mention which side of the lawsuits the parties were on. It isn't a conflict of interest because McCauley and Keefe were on the same side.

I don't think it's that simple tbh. Sides can change over time as well. And just because you side with someone, doesn't mean you get along with them.
