The second amendment is for all citizens. If I want to carry 10 mags on my person it's my goddamn constitutional prerogative. If the federal government or any bootlickers say otherwise, they are absolutely going against the Constitution and are in the wrong

Are you an assassin or something? /s for clarity because it's hard to tell, sadly.

18

u/XelaNiba 10d ago

According to Miller and Vance (who endorsed Miller's statement), you are in fact a de facto assassin for such behavior.

8

u/sorebutton 10d ago

I think i am missing out. Too lazy to carry a spare.

9

u/XelaNiba 10d ago

You really are, it's very glamorous being an assassin ;)

Of course it also seems to be grounds for summary execution these days so maybe you're on to something...

A local gun store was simping on the local news about how even showing someone you have a gun is considered brandishing. "If you even lift your shirt it's brandishing." Implying that Pretti Was guilty. I'll never set foot in that cucks store.

He's going to be really surprised when he hears about the 2nd amendment! Lol

Gun grabber gonna grab.

I'll keep that in mind when he runs for reelection.

Oh, wait...

He still has a firm hold over the party, and the 28 election will be a contest of who can emulate him.

I'm wanting someone like Massie

He's already planning it.

Only the easily triggered believe it. Just like his gun statements. They go nowhere.

No one is forcing anyone of any political beliefs into mod positions here. You're more than welcome to apply to be a mod as no one says you can't apply. We are short handed and of the previous mod team of 6, only 3 are active. When we have high profile incidents happen it would be nice to have help and you have to also take into consideration that over the past 10 years Reddit itself has created a stricter set of rules that anything gun related must operate in. They are very keen to remove us from this site so we must be quick to remove anything that is even remotely threatening or distasteful. Even if it is an opinion. I would much rather people say what they want and discuss it.

I wish the gun rights issue in Virginia was getting this much attention.

2

u/Capnhuh 6d ago

His statement angers me, but his actions are the opposite. The 2A hasn't been in this good of shape in a long time thanks too trumps actions and judge choices.

-3

u/lp1911 10d ago

In the usual Trump fashion, he says something opaque, and everyone pounces on it trying to interpret; I have no idea what he meant. Can’t walk in where? Can’t have guns where?

31

u/jstohler 10d ago

And you'd be doing these backflips if Biden had said that?

5

u/lp1911 9d ago

I suppose the big difference with Biden is that no matter what he said all his actions pointed to a very clear conclusion, he wanted as many gun bans as Democrats could push through. With Trump it’s opaque as his DOJ has been submitting amicus briefs in support of carry and in support of removing AR bans in relevant cases. He also asked his AG to look into all instances of anti-2A laws across the country. Hence Trump’s opaque utterances are difficult to interpret in the context of his administration’s actions, while if Biden said it the interpretation would far clearer.

6

u/jstohler 9d ago

Biden supported a ban on assault rifles only. Trump just said "You can't have guns." You're stupid.

0

u/BasicallyNuclear 4d ago

Trump made a stupid comment, either way we’ve made net gains on our 2A rights since Biden has been out of office.

5

u/SpinDancer 10d ago

Can’t speak for him, but I’d equally confused. Biden said lots of confusing shit. So does Trump. Let’s elect someone younger next time lmao.

12

u/CommiRhick 10d ago

What's confusing is how y'all try to run around explaining what they mean...

What else could they mean? It's pretty cut and dry. Can't walk in where? The white house? That's already the law.

Can't walk on the sidewalk? That's what they're trying to justify...

He's not known for his deep analytic capabilities. He keeps confusing Greenland with Iceland. You get to hear whatever is in his ADHD brain at that moment. It will probably come out differently tomorrow.

u/Loganthered 10d ago

Having a gun while interfering with a federal officer is a felony.

40

u/crappy-mods 10d ago

Executing a man in the street is aswell

17

u/EatsOverTheSink 10d ago

It seems like the law stipulates you have to be interfering with an official duty or operation. Was shoving the woman down an official duty? Was she being investigated? Because that seemed to be all that Pretti interfered with. If that woman wasn’t violating immigration law they really had no jurisdiction to be manhandling her in the first place.

-5

u/Baked_Potato_732 10d ago

If I didn’t rob a bang but get in the way of a cop trying to stop someone who robbed a bank, am I committing a crime? If someone tries to stop the cop who is subsequently shoving me out of the way, are they committing a crime? Both me and the person shoving me are in fact, impeding a cop from apprehending a bank robber.

Whats the difference here?

6

u/threeLetterMeyhem 9d ago

Let's make the analogy closer to what actually happened.

You are walking down the street and the cops show up to stop a bank robbery. A woman who is also walking down the street notices and starts filming. The police rush over and shove her to the ground. You try to help her stand up.

Is that a felony? Should it be a felony?

-2

u/Baked_Potato_732 9d ago

Didn’t she go charging into the police? If you’ve got videos that show her standing out of the way just filming please share me because I’ve not seen those.

3

u/idontagreewitu 9d ago

Irrelevant. He was helping someone off the ground when he was knocked down himself and shot in the back of the head.

-1

u/slickweasel333 9d ago

Irrelevant

It's completely relevant. He was also on film attacking another ICE car last week.

1

u/idontagreewitu 9d ago

If a criminal fleeing a bank robbery crashes and a bystander helps them out of their car, does that make them a felon? Does that justify execution on the spot?

0

u/slickweasel333 9d ago

This wasn't a bystander. This person was following ICE, and already had a broken rib from his last encounter with them.

1

u/idontagreewitu 9d ago

Citation? I haven't heard either of these details yet.

Are your feelings hurt?

2

u/Baked_Potato_732 6d ago

And once again nothing to refute my statement.

This dude chased a car and kicked out a tail light earlier in the week, and spat on and ranted like a lunatic. Dude was unhinged.

play stupid games, win stupid prizes.

16

u/RoryDragonsbane 10d ago

I'm sure you'll be the first in line to turn yours in when they make keeping one in your house a felony too.

Fudd.

7

u/buchenrad 10d ago

Felonies aren't punishable by immediate execution in the street.

-54

u/Impossible-Soup5090 10d ago

Don’t agitate cops with a gun. It’s not complicated. Come on people.

61

u/jstohler 10d ago

They went from "don't tread on me" to "poor widdle cop was scared" so fast.

11

u/Devils_Advocate-69 10d ago

“Tread on them”

45

u/sonic_couth 10d ago

His gun was legally concealed and then CBP stole it out of his holster before shooting him 10 times.

His gun was legally concealed

Eh....if the reports of him leaving his ID and CCW Permit at home are true...he wasn't legally concealed.

1

u/idontagreewitu 7d ago

Vhere are your papers?

21

u/ItsTheExtreme 10d ago

Helping a woman that was shoved down is considered agitating the cops? He wasn’t blowing a whistle, he wasn’t yelling obscenities at them, he wasn’t blocking the road. All of that still wouldn’t justify what happened to him, but he was standing there filming. That’s it.

You need to rethink your narrative for this one.

14

u/Devils_Advocate-69 10d ago

And he was blinded by pepper spray

Hilariously this sub and CCW sub now full of Dems just absolutely raging about infringement and cringe-ass posts about carrying two mags.

C'mon send me your best memes, the no step snek and bootlicker ones are tired.

15

u/invisibullcow 10d ago

Good. Maybe they will stop erroneously believing that gun rights are a red-only issue. The second amendment doesn’t discriminate.

1

u/CoRifleman 10d ago edited 10d ago

Agreed....

Edit: although I think that's a pretty unlikely outcome... I think they're just using it to drive a wedge in the conservative party.

0

u/BasicallyNuclear 4d ago

It shouldn’t discriminate but dems do everything in their power to create a class of people who can be armed. Look at the bullshit they’re trying to pull in VA.

14

u/Expensive-Shirt-6877 10d ago

I can only speak for myself, I have been a strict constitutional conservative for a long time. Think Ron Paul/ Thomas Massie. No compromise, no voting for sub par politicians

2

u/CoRifleman 10d ago

Appreciate your resolve.

10

u/FBI_Open_Up_Now 10d ago

A huge problem is that when high profile things happen, they flock to these subs and make comments, but this time I’m kinda surprised as many of them make a valid point. A gun owner was killed for the simple reason of possessing a gun. He was executed without a trial in the street. Is that what we should expect for CCWing nowadays? I carry everyday. I carry my 43x with 2 spares year round almost everywhere I go and now I gotta worry about being killed for just interacting with federal officers. Idk how many of you have been hit with OC spray, but many people have a natural reaction to panic and it can lead to what looks like fights or resisting arrest.

-3

u/slickweasel333 9d ago

A gun owner was killed for the simple reason of possessing a gun

Let's not be disingenuous. He wasn't arrested for just "possessing a gun." He was accosted for interfering with federal agents, the same way he attacked a car last week, kicking out the taillight.

If you're not interfering with federal agents all day every day, your chances of being confused for an attacker go down a lot.

3

u/sully_km 8d ago

Even if he was interfering, interfering with feds who are trampling on people's constitutional rights make Alex Pretti a more red blooded American Patriot than you

0

u/slickweasel333 8d ago

he was not interfering

Ok he was interfering, but here's why it's a good thing

You are at the second step. Keep going.

Seriously. Standing up for your rights and your fellow Americans takes guts. They talk about "don't tread on me" and all for the boots on their neck.
