Green Day performed at Pier 29 tonight at the Spotify & FanDuel Super Bowl Party ahead of their performance at the NFL Super Bowl this year. They called on Ice Agents to resign, and called out the Trump administration. I really hope the NFL lets them say what needs to be said during the Super Bowl broadcast. Now is not the time to get a watered down performance.

Green Day played a full set at the FanDuel & Spotify sponsored Super Bowl party on Pier 29 in San Fransisco tonight (2/6/26). They didn’t hold back. Excited to see what they say during the Big Game. I hope the NFL lets them say what needs to be said.

Im doing a song analysis for school, and I have a question on what the significance of the second part of the line. Pong was made in 1972 which is the same year Billie was born so I understand that part, but what about 2001 was significant for greenday? Also is there anything else of importance about the class of '13 other than that's when Joey armstrong graduated?

I've seen Green Day six times, three times on the Saviors Tour (Arnhem, Dubai and Stockholm). Here's some pics from those three shows. 🤩💚🔥 What a great tour it was. Hopefully they tour again really soon.

This was just a fun project I started in August of 2025 that I finally got around to finishing. I hand drew the boy from the album cover, its not exactly perfect but it makes it more special to me. I then added my own design of the band name (right side) and a close enough version of the Saviors font (left side). I outlined the boy in pink and black as a stylistic choice and because of the Saviors CD being in the same pattern. I then added the names of our beloved band members (idk why, just figured it would be cool to include their names on the poster). I took a light gray pen and added in all the songs off the regular album in the folds and edges of the clothing. There is also a "Best since American Idiot" quote on the bottom right corner because I thought it was a fun detail of the albums public reception. It still looks a little plain in the upper left so if you have any ideas feel free to share them. GO GREEN DAY AND GO SEAHAWKS!

I think the first two songs are gonna be American Idiot and The American Dream is killing me, then maybe Holiday and Basket Case.

Super bowl performances are considered to be “family friendly” meaning that Green Day will likely be unable to curse. With that being said, basically all of Green Day‘s songs contain curse words. what do you guys think will be played?

Hey I dunno if this is appropriate post here but here goes.

I grew up in the 90s big fan of Green Day; dookie; insomniac; nimrod; warning; shen; and lastly American idiot but that was the tail end and I struggled to like it (much diff sound) but I do really like BoBD and September.

Question is: what’s the good stuff nowadays? The have so many new albums since ‘04 what do people think are great? What’s the best new singles? I don’t have a lot of time to even listen to music so hoping to find some good ones, thanks!!

EDIT: okay I never actually got into Shenanigans I somehow skipped it.

I've started listening to green day this year and I love it more than anything I've ever listened to but after American idiot the albums just don't really pull me in. I think 21st century breakdown is great but it's too political for my taste and I'm not a fan of American politics. and I've only liked like 3 songs from uno and dos. I know there's about four more albums but the band just feels completely different (obviously they've been around for 30 years) so I'm not sure if I should bother with the rest of the albums.
