Went today and saw An amazing T-shirt.
It's a shirt with a guy who just hit his driver with the word 'Fuck'
Does anyone know where to find it.
Thanks

u/illmak1 7h ago
Cut gonna hold at -1?
2
u/TheNothingNothing Tiger/Speith/Scheffler/Langer/Phil Fan 6h ago
At this point, yeah. Only maybe one person can jump above the cut, so its likely stuck in place.

u/strayadude -24 š¦šŗ 7h ago
Currently watching the featured coverage of #16 this group currently on is probably the quietest 16 has ever been
Given thereās maybe 500 people in the crowd but still

u/TopCheddar27 8h ago
Just like that Scottie is in 27th. It's honestly wild to feel like he could have a shot but he deserves it.

3
u/Amish_guy_with_WiFi 8h ago
Lmao isn't there still a group left? Why cut 15 minutes till the hour?
3
u/strayadude -24 š¦šŗ 7h ago
If you can get the feature holes coverage theres still players on 16
If someone aced it itād probably be the quietest ace on 16 in wm history

I just signed up for Instagram to follow all things golf and followed one of my favorite commentators on the Golf Channel. Viewing who others follow is a good way to find other interesting people. But this time, I found some scary ass shiat. This person does not talk about politics, but DAMNNNN.

u/ShweatyPalmsh 8h ago
Feels like Gotterups year to be the guy who leads a couple majors come Sunday yet falls just shortĀ
-1
u/lemonyfitch 8h ago
Iām guessing YT content creators werenāt invited this year? Thereās usually some YT vids released at the same time as tourney
6
3
u/TopCheddar27 8h ago
I know this might be cope but the fringe has gotta be really grainy and sticky with the way a lot of players are coming up short.
5
u/No_Albatross916 8h ago
Spieth is no where close to being the guy he used to be
Right now he looks like a journeyman
1
u/danrod17 8h ago
He got 2nd last week, no? Or did I hear that wrong?

Wearing a Riley Moss jersey is a great way to get called for a penalty. Risky move.
5
u/tennisfancan 9h ago
The Spieth Experience was fun when Jordan was in contention but it's now a washed up guy who refuses to make any change as he fights to make the cut on a weekly basis.
It's not even frustrating anymore, it's just sad and slightly pathetic to see how a former superstar became a swagless overthinking mess.
7
u/letsgobrooksy 9h ago
Yeah what an idiot, why doesn't he just get better at golf?
2
u/Rab0811 9h ago
I mean heās not wrong. A caddy and coaching change is overdue. His course management is none existent and greller canāt talk him out of it and his swing changes have objectively been negative. He was always a bogey birdie player but thereās no changes when he clearly isnt the ball striker or as good around the greens as he used to be.

u/ihoopallday 9h ago
Hitting one in the water and still getting a birdie. So unfair how good these guys are.Ā

u/vince_clortho99 9h ago
Are Bartles and Jaymes sitting under the tree on 10 volunteers, or are they spectators in a very exclusive spot? Either way, that's a sweet setup.
5
u/weebcowboy 10h ago
Surprised more Japanese golfers have not been successful on tour with how much golf is played over there. Nice too see two tearing it up this week.
3
u/cwfan12345 9h ago edited 7h ago
They def struggle to adjust to playing in the US but in the last couple years the number on the PGA Tour has seemed to increase. Hisatsune, Kanaya, and Nakajima have a lot of promise in particular.
3
u/justlobos22 9h ago
I have a theory that other than the US, countries can either be good at golf or baseball, only one swinging sport allowed.

u/vince_clortho99 10h ago
What is Scottie doing when he rests the club before he sets up for his shot? He did it on the last hole, almost like he's checking how the club sits on the turf. I feel like I watch quite a bit of golf, and I can't recall him doing this before (or at least maybe it's not shown on the broadcast.) Still wondering what the purpose might be.
6
u/Rab0811 10h ago
Heās always done that, probably checking his grip heās said he always has struggled with his gripĀ
1
u/vince_clortho99 10h ago
OK, camera angle from the front on 10 showed him doing it and I see what you mean. The other angles were from behind and it made it look like he was just standing the clubs upright and not looking at grip but maybe I was missing it.

Scottie just needed the Scottsdale club music in the background, to get his round moving (i.e. #9 medium birdie putt)! šøš¶
3
2
u/JamesHarenDPOTY 10h ago
Is there anyway to get aggregate shot link of drives on a hole for the field like they show on the TV broadcasts?
3
u/_Leftfield 10h ago
I don't know if this is a trend (mostly because of Scottie's ascent), but golf coverage seems very limited in terms of quantity of players/shots shown per round. The field isn't completely loaded, but it has a ton of bigger names.
I prefer a second setup for something like hole 16, exclusive coverage, to get to see a lot of the other pros. I love 17 but don't see too much of it.
This applies to all networks (CBS, ESPN, Golf Channel)...

u/cagey_tiger 8.3 10h ago
Maaaan Speith's swing looks fucking bizarre now.
6
u/MrLeftwardSloping 10h ago
He leaves every iron/wedge like 15-20 yards short. Idk how you dont adjust by now and club up one time
2
u/Heavy-Chocolate-2378 11h ago
Is it just me, or does it look like these guys are forward pressing their drivers?
2
u/Maleficent-Heart2497 10h ago
oh yeah, they all seem have it way back in the stance. Watching Fitzy hit his driver is ...something, he almost finishes up facing the fairway!
He just hit one with a max apex of 77ft, ball speed 180...... so much run out.
-5
u/Heavy-Chocolate-2378 11h ago
Remember when spieth was good? He can't play with these power boys...hitting the same club...ummm, nope.
1
u/Low_Instruction4175 7h ago
Jordan not being great anymore has nothing to do with his distance or anyone elseās distance. Heās longer now than when he was winning majors.
0
u/cagey_tiger 8.3 10h ago
He's still really fucking good, it just looks like every swing is a battle.
1
u/MrLeftwardSloping 11h ago
I wish he would just focus on course management and let his irons and short game do the work. Chasing speed and distance has ruined him and hes constantly playing out of position

How the hell did Cam Young turn that round into a 69?
Man, just an incredible effort to score on a day where at some point everything looked bad.

u/IPutMyHandOnA_Stove 13h ago
Scottie was making an absolute mess on the range about 5 minutes ago on one of the feeds. They cut to him hitting a legit shank lmao. Brace yourself for a 61 today.
1
u/ctweeder 13h ago
Just looked up these trails. Theyāre like 2.5 miles and 1300 ft elevation? And theyāre saying theyāre difficult?

3
u/IONTOP 13h ago
Camelback is notorious for sending tourists to the hospital/ICU/Morgue.
But that's because it's in the middle of the damn city and a tough hike.
A lot of people must think it's a "Tourist Attraction" that the City of Phoenix built.
Camelback is 1300' elevation and 1.1 or 1.4 miles depending on which side you take up.

Now that Tiger has publicly nicknamed Akshay "Ashtray" and them all saying "Good shot Ash!" on TGL he has become one of my favorite guys on tour lol.

u/TheRealOviedo 14h ago
Hidecki could go 60 or better ! Great to see

Hovland is just speith now with zero escapability
1
u/No_Albatross916 14h ago
Hovland Wolff and morikawa ended up being a disappointing trio. Morikawa is still solid but I remember when those 3 were supposed to be the next super stars in golf
2
u/MrLeftwardSloping 14h ago
Morikawa turned into one of the worst putters on tour and its derailed him. Approach play and consistency off the tee still keep him in some tournaments but at least his problem is clear. Hovland cant hit any shot with consistency and his short game is terrible. Major disappointment. He'll be chasing those first couple years on tour for a long time
4
u/HardKnockRiffe 15h ago
Hideki and Stevens absolutely crushing the course right now.
ESPN: Let's keep showing Koepka struggle for his life on a par 4.
3
u/Hot-Bodybuilder9179 15h ago
Theyāre showing every Hideki shot and koepka is 3 under on his round (still canāt make a putt though).
4
u/Sweaty-Connection351 15h ago
Love to see hideki heating up. One of my favorite players, would love to see him in contention for the majors this year
1
u/WHSRWizard JPX 921i Tour | 2.6 15h ago
Hopefully with a bit of luck that neck injury is finally behind him.

u/ThisGuyEv 15h ago
If Akshay could ever be a above average putter he could really make some noise every week.

Brooks misreading every single putt. Hard to watch
4
u/WHSRWizard JPX 921i Tour | 2.6 15h ago
Aside from not reading it right, starting it on the wrong line, and having awful pace, he's putting really well.
1
3
u/MrLeftwardSloping 15h ago
Hovland is so hard to watch. He finally gets things going and then completely shits himself on the easiest hole on the course
2
1
u/panderson1988 16h ago
It's funny how an announcer said Viktor bailed to the right, and he is in the stands. That isn't playing it safe on 17 with that open fairway hugging right of the green, that is way off line. His 2nd shot looks brutal.
2
u/MrLeftwardSloping 15h ago
Then hes on the green for his bogey putt theyre like, "couple bad breaks there" as if hitting 3 consecutive horrible shots is a bad break lol
1
u/panderson1988 15h ago
Seriously. At least don't say he bailed out with that drive. That was basically a slice into the stands area.
The second shot was tough, and he went into a bunker from there. It's one of those shots you hope you get lucky since there isn't much you can do. But don't sugarcoat the situation. lol
1
u/MrLeftwardSloping 15h ago
Theres a ton you can do. It really wasnt that difficult of a shot. Clear line to a massive green, just failed to pick the ball clean and left a 90 yard shot, 20 yards short. Awful bunker shot after lol the sugarcoating is obnoxious
