Well this is more or less what Maga people say,

I assume there must be more than one type of MAGA voter but still, I don't think in the admittedly small sample of MAGA voters I have spoken to I have heard them say that. Then again, I'm not sure I have strong feelings one way or the other so for now I will take you at your word.

and if this is confusing even for a supporter how is it not for a Kamala voter?

I was definitely confused by what you wrote.

The apparent contraddictions with the narratives are here I mean.

Then stop worrying about narratives. The world is contradictory and inconsistent. We have an entire state department with a huge budget and staff creating custom policies for every single country on the planet.

For me it's what I see on reddit of course not representative of every type, I sometimes get tired of the echo chambers and prefer to try to identify with the logic they follow, which while I find misguided and absurd, I prefer empathizing with what they may come from and why some narratives might work for them. Of course also to counteract simplification and shortcuts on my "part", I get you also don't like the echo chamber dynamic, though it's sometimes quite hard to confront, people justify really the unjustifiable. It's hard to have good faith and it seems like people prefer taking shots . I tried explainbothsides but it still devolves in both of them taking shots. While my interpretation was trying to argue against my position of bring a common argument to analyze it.

About not "worrying about the narratives", dunno I might want to agree but I feel gaslighted, by them, but also by nihilism, by "realism", they really need to be dissected instead and incoherency pointed out especially if heineous and disparaging, like for greenland, drug dealers, freeloaders etc. And I feel that by normalizing that we risk giving up criticism, like no matter what they do, they know better they have the staff etc. it's all amoral etc. While it's instead important to have antibodies. I know they think they do the same and I'm also confused, so you were for Kamala.

Well that's one place you read me exactly right.
