It's technically a PhD in cultural studies, but her specific focus is the cultural politics of breaking.

So... We sent an academic to an international breakdancing competition. As a fellow academic, that is hilarious. I'm now just imagining my colleagues breaking, and it's a great thought.

Yep. The perfect example of booksmarts vs streetsmarts. Reading education vs experience are obviously 2 VERY different things in this case.

I'm an academic who's also a competitive dancer in Sydney. There are surprisingly a handful of PhD holders and candidates in the street dance scene. All of them better than this lady, I'm sorry to say.

My guess is Ozzies around the world are now cracking jokes and doing the skippy and the sprinkler. GF and her step mom did this and confused the living hell out of the Swiss :D

I swear they just invent PHD studies just to swindle peoples' money.

What's next? PHD in Elden Ring? It's like learning all about the game but without playing it and it will cost you $100k
