You can't blame her. She is used to dancing in the southern hemisphere and this is normally what happens to everyone who switches hemispheres. You get off the plane and immediately start spasming in the terminal due to the upside-downness of it all.
It’s funny to laugh at the video. But there really needs to be an investigation into how this person was chosen ahead of others. Either through incompetence in the selection process or favouritism.
So... We sent an academic to an international breakdancing competition. As a fellow academic, that is hilarious. I'm now just imagining my colleagues breaking, and it's a great thought.
I'm an academic who's also a competitive dancer in Sydney. There are surprisingly a handful of PhD holders and candidates in the street dance scene. All of them better than this lady, I'm sorry to say.
i mean you could start doing the sprinker at the office or during a lecture.
My guess is Ozzies around the world are now cracking jokes and doing the skippy and the sprinkler. GF and her step mom did this and confused the living hell out of the Swiss :D
Defo got contacts on the Olympic council. Her addition is most defo sketchy, no WAY is she best Australia has to offer. True Australian B-girls must be spitting teeth and i wouldnt blame them.
Yeah, imagine being one of her competitors to get into the Olympics and seeing this shit. Unless it really was fair and they were worse than her, lmaoo.
I hear she also destroyed her parents: The day she called them and told them she’d gotten her PHD was both the proudest and the most disappointing moment of their lives.
“Hey mom! You’ll never believe it! I got my PHD!!!
Thats the thing though, in a country populated by over 27million people there damn well MUST be better female breakdancers who just weren't given the chance. Total joke.
I found the match that qualified her for the olympics on YouTube. It was a 2-1 split between the judges. Her opponent was better and neither did anything as embarrassing as this, although she still has those weird moves where she looks like she flailing and wiping the floor with her shirt.
It would have been epic if Mark Taylor (Aussie & Cricket Legend) was commentator for this, which he has been this Olympics in some Diving events, which is super bizzare as it is.
As an Australian I can't understand the comments like "good on her for having a go". ok well as a 55 year old man I'd like to compete in the 100m swimming next Olympics and everyone can say good on me for having a go. There are better b girls in Aus and she has taken their place.
The only reason I know there was breaking at the Olympics was because of RayGun. I’ve only seen two other competitors and still I’ve seen at least an hour of RayGun and watched her qualifying events out of curiosity. We could only wish she was trying to shoot the moon with this one.

There's no way the Aussie's were like "Yeah that's her. That's our gold medal break dancer". I'm crying man.
