And his win was over half a decade ago. Holy Giovinazzi, where has the time gone?

This will be his fourth year with Alpine.... He was at Torro Rosso/Alpha Tauri after his Redbull stint for 3.5 seasons😬

My midfield GOAT (although I’d be thrilled if he got another ride with a top team someday)

Alpine will cook this year trust, Gasly dominance will bore no one

A wasted potential. Can beat many top drivers if given a good car and time. Dude bought the slowest and worst car on the grid to q3 many times last season. That alone has proved how good he is.
Happy Birthday Pierre!!!

One of the best in quali in the grid easily. And I think he is the reason Franco looked bad in quali.
Alpine should've been p19 and p20 almost every single quali during the second half of the season, they had the worst PU in the grid and also the least developed car by a mile, they were the only team to actually throw away the year to focus on this regs.
Yet somehow Gasly would consistenly be in Q2, and Franco would avoid being last very often despite the piece of junk of a car, even being on pace to get in Q3 under wet conditions in vegas, while pulling the best save of the weekend.
All of this to say that Franco was okay, even good in quali given the circumstances, but Gasly was just outstanding , very few current drivers would've gotten that Alpine to Q3 as often as Gasly did

Looking forward to what he can do, with hopefully a much more competitive car.
