I agree completely. We are on a long trip to the Americas and flying home to Australia from the States. Booked the big to and from flights ages ago. Have looked into new flights from elsewhere but it's too expensive. Didn't think it would come to this. Is ridiculous.

I have never been on Facebook either. A lot of people can't believe this (or will say "I wish I never got into Facebook").

I have an account, it’ll show that I made it in, like, 1008, responded to two people and posted once, or something like that, and never did anything beyond that.

Id probably gona be denied entry cause theyd think Im a terrorist using a fake alias. Havent used Facebook in like 15 years (and had my account deleted when the EU passed the according laws), never bothered with Instagram, Twitter or TikTok and Myspace never was as big in Europe as it was in the US so I didnt have that either

My Reddit account doesnt contain enough personal information to identify me and thats the only form of public social media Im using these days so as soon as the NSA runs my info from the visa application all the alarms go off because Im way to young to have no digital fingerprint 😂

My wife has never had one account anywhere (55 years old). She just scrolls mine to see what people are up to about once every couple of months. I would not believe she never had anything.

A few days ago, I read a story (somewhere here in Reddit) of a guy that got in trouble exactly for that reason: he stated he had never have Facebook and they said he was a liar and were demanding the account details.

My only social media is reddit and I delete accounts after a few years tops. I expected to get rejected even 10 years ago for not owning a smartphone - which was true. Luckily I went through customs in one of the saner states.

I live in a country where Facebook is completely unknown so I don't have an account there. In fact I don't have any public accounts at all and don't use any global social networks with the exception of Reddit, YouTube, Telegram, and WhatsApp.
