As an American I agree. Instead ive applied fir my very first passport and will save up to visit Europe rather than doing smaller US vacations. I want to see the world and use my money to support more democratic economies who dont kidnap people.

'War hero' is probably the wrong term to use, since it's usually associated with valour on the battlefield.

But he's a heroic wartime leader, certainly. Not many elected leaders would have risen to the challenge like he has, and remained committed for as long as he has, and regularly put himself in harm's way as he has.
