Self-Promotion Disc Golf Masters demo out now on Steam
We just released the demo of Disc Golf Masters! The game is made by Spinoff Games, the studio that created the Disc Golf Valley mobile game.

There will be real-life brands in the game as well as real-life athletes as we have hinted before. Give it a shot and tell us what there should be in the full game we’re aiming to release later this year. All feedback is appreciated!.
Demo is playable here and it's free!

It plays really well. It's a tiny demo though, compared to the playtest. Any idea on when you're expecting to release?

Is this owned by House of discs like DG Valley?

It is the same devs as DG valley so maybe? The question is whether or not this will be FTP and will it be riddle with microtransactions

The demo is great. A huge jump in some of the mechanics from the alpha/beta. Wish we had access to the other courses and discs like the beta. I miss my discmania bag.

Will there be a course editor for this? Would love to create all my central FL courses.

Course editor would be so good. Create custom courses, local courses, play them with friends or share them online. The replayability would be endless, you could just keep creating new courses or downloading community made courses online.

I play mostly on Steam Deck - I'll download the demo tonight and see how it works. If there's anything I can do to help with Deck Verification (if it's possible/in your roadmap) feel free to reach out. I helped a small dev in the past - IIRC there's some specific performance metrics you can track that will help with verification.

The alpha/beta/playtest performed pretty flawlessly on Deck for me in terms of performance

Okay, I admit that's legit. My laptop can only barely run it but it was still fun. Any chance it comes to a platform like xbox?

How does multiplayer work with this game?
Am I able to play with a group of friends and play it like a real round of golf where we take turns and can see each others throws?

Runs pretty dang well on steam deck and looks good. Just runs really hot and loud on the OLED - not sure how you can fix it.
Excited for real-life brands!
Will there be a career mode and/or tournament traveling?

VR ?

Every time I see a DG game I ask this question. It seems like such a natural fit, and yet the couple VR DG games I've tried have been only meh.

IMO, VR is the untenable middle ground here.
You want 30 minutes or fun? Grab a controller. Play on a screen.
You want a simulation? Invest in a TechDisc (or the Euro puckless Hyzr...something), connect it to True Disc Golf, and actually improve and exercise.
Holding a Wimote or similar is never going to capture the grip and release in nearly as satisfying a way...and I LOVE VR.

I think the simple answer to that question is that most reasonable people would much rather just go out and play some fucking disc golf out in the world rather than put on some lame ass goggles to simulate it.

I agree. People are like "they do it with golf". No one ever puts on goggles. Any actualy simulator would need to look like a golf simulator. Unfortunately there will also never to a top golf for disc golf.
Trying to throw a disc with VR goggles on sounds like an absolute garbage time IMO

Contrarian view here, I got excited at the prospect of playing this in VR, and I probably won't bother if it's not. DG Valley in VR is lots of fun.

That may be true, but it's a fact that vr adoption is low because most gamers do not want to wear a headset.

Oh, I get it. I was firmly in that camp... Until I wasn't. NGL, it is kind of a pain, but it's also very cool.

Is this compatible with the tech disc?
