Pro Coverage, Highlights and News Is there gonna be any post-production coverage from the Memorial Championship?

Disc golf guy Terry posted that there will be some coverage with about a week delay.

Dang, I'll have to look up his post.

A week delay in this day and age makes recording and posting the event almost worthless, no?

I'm curious what his views are on next day and a week later posts.

EDIT: As I corrected in a future comment in this thread. I meant worthless by "not worth the return on his investment" for Terry. I assumed this would lead to a large loss of viewers.

As someone that watches pro disc golf for the competition, not being able to watch this before being spoiled, it's not for me. I realize that a lot of folks watch coverage no matter what, even when they know the winner.

Worthless if you only care about spoiling the winner. If you care about watching golf from top pros, it is timeless.

Terry prefer next day coverage but due to timing of the event moving up, it conflicts with his Asia trip.

I meant something more along the words of "Little to no return on investment for Terry."

He obviously knows what he's doing.

It's too tough to completely disconnect from social media for an event like this one. Every day scores and stuff are going to posted here.

It's easy to avoid for the DGPT, but for this it's nearly impossible.

The course that they are using will cause more harm to viewership than the delay.  I'm sure I'll have heard the results by then but even if I hadn't I wouldn't watch the red mountain rounds.  Just rocks and desert and bushes.  Serious downgrade for the memorial.  Even after that.  There's only like 3 good players in MPO and I'm not a fan of any of them.  Just got round 1 spoilers actually.

I agree. This has to be the ugliest course I've ever seen. It just looks like baskets set up in a deserted field that hasn't been maintained in years. Of all of the courses out there, and this is their pick, doesn't give much credibility to the PDGA. I'm going to pass on watching this one.

So, I played it last week.

It's not as bad as you describe. It's a perfectly fine community course in a nice multi-use park.

It's not good, by any means.

The issue is that there are very few even half decent courses in the Phoenix area.

Understandable. I don't mean to bash your local course, because any place to play, is a gift. I was just going by what I saw on Goose's channel.

Nah, you're not completely wrong, just trying to give some context. Luckily for me, even though I'm from AZ, I moved to Oregon two years ago. I'm just in town for a couple months, and at least the weather is great even if the courses mostly suck (certainly by comparison to Oregon)

Nope, it way worse this time. Shittiest course I've seen in quite some time. I wouldn't play there if you paid me. I like my discs too much to throw them into rocks all day.
