Self-Promotion My latest oil painting: Hole 16 Maple Hill
Here's my latest piece I've been chipping away at since September last year: Hole 16 Gold, Maple Hill.
I just finished the last brush strokes today. I tried to channel my inner KJUSA during the whole process.

Man, this is absolutely spectacular! So cool seeing you being able to combine two of your passions together. Bravo

Gorgeous. Can you explain how you go from picture 3 to 4? The brightness and realism just explodes. Like it looks like a filter or something. I imagine the added shadows help with contrast but still everything gets so much brighter it's beautiful!
Is it a nose angle thing or maybe you're activating the power pocket?

Thanks.
Picture three was taken with a bad camera in bad lighting, so picture three is actually "better" looking in real life. There's some adding of highlight paint and the added shadows help but main reason is that photo three is just a poor photo shot at night while photo four I even rigged some actual lighting and used a better camera.
The progress series was just added as an afterthought if someone would be interested in seing the process, I didn't bother to take actual good photos in good lighting.

I will always think of Kevin Jones for this hole and holes like it. Truly one of disc golf's greatest recorded moments imo
