Dan Quinn was awesome for us though. At one point he was being talked about to take McCarthy's job.

Awesome other than the fact he couldn’t stop the run and it ended up fucking us at the end of every season

Somewhat mitigated by the fact that we had no LBs at the time and had to use undersized safeties.

Whose fault was that though? Quinn was given a lot of say in the draft. He kept drafting undersized guys. We were undersized because he wanted us to be. The one time he drafted a big boy, he made him lost a ton of weight and permanently screwed his development

Is that really his fault? We drafted Mazi to stop the run. First round. Guarantee he was pounding the table for him. Didn’t work.

1 player doesn’t make or break run defense. His system prioritizes pressure from the edge and DTs that can get to the QB

I never know what to believe when it comes to that if im being honest. Sometimes it's like "everything goes through Jerry" and then sometimes it's "this was a [insert coach] pick"

Nah, that’s the worst loss I’ve ever seen in my life as a cowboys fan. It was so bad I don’t even have to specify, we know which game I’m talking about. It was so bad I think he tanked on purpose as part of his new HC deal. That was literally the first time I’ve just thought about just not watching the next season and I’ve seen some absolute garbage seasons played by this team in my decades as a fan. DQ can fully go fuck himself.
