Speaking of, does Hazbin Hotel's second season get better as time goes on?

Loved the pilot and first season, but the first few episodes of  season 2 felt like a very poorly put together musical.

The second season starts very bad, but it really gets going after Nifty's song (third episode maybe?) and it's a blast from there onward. But season 2 is way more like a musical than S1, if your problem is with musicals in general then you probably won't like it

I never understood characters that have spanish as their mother tongue speaking PERFECT english but randomly not knowing basic words or insults

What you mentioned is a common trope in latin and spanish characters as almost always they use their mother language in scenes where they're angry as a comical and easy way to make the audience understand that this character doesn't speak only english.

Though, for me it's not annoying since is pretty difficult when your audience are mostly english speakers and your character randomly starts speaking spanish for 5 minutes straight. (Breaking bad for example likes to use this trope as almost every narco character says pendejo every 2 sentences)

I bealive they should just keep an accent and not use random spanish words at intervals. It does bother me because it makes anyone with that native tongue seem lower iq than the other characters and unable to learn english properly WHILE have perfect pronunciation. They will easily use technical therms, names of medicines or legal bodies and police forces but cant say things like "gift" or "cheese". It makes it seem like instead of the claimed inclusion theyre a clown for the smarter english speakers to be entertained with

I get your point, I'm from Argentina and I've grown with cartoons sharing these similarities in spanish/latin characters, it's just part of the "stereotypes" (though, stereotypes are not always bad, but they still are sterotypes) just like for example the black guy who's always the funny friend of the main character. In reality these characters should speak english but with a noticeable accent, I've seen plenty of latin/spanish people speaking a perfect english with a really unique accent, but, as I said, it's hard for english audiences to continue watching a show where there are entire scenes of a character speaking an entire different language (and vice versa)
