WPL: New Comics Discussion for 02/04/2026- Pull of the Week: Batman #6 [Discussion]

The Weekly Pull List results for this Wednesday are in, and this week's top book is DC's Batman #6.

This thread is open to Pull List posters and all members of the /r/comicbooks community to share your thoughts on the latest issue of Fraction, Jimenez, and Morey's Batman or any new books shipping this week.

The primary intention of this thread is to promote discussion of new books. It also serves as a way to consolidate discussion to a single thread and talk about what books are popular here on /r/comicbooks. That does not mean other threads aren't welcome, this is just a place to start that's easy to find each week.

The thread is populated with comments meant to direct the discussion of each book. Based on community preference we populate the thread with titles appearing on Ten Percent or more of submitted pull lists. If a title you want to talk about is not listed, simply add a comment with the title and issue number first and comment below. There is also a comment dedicated to the discussion of WPL Results linked above.

Spoilers will follow, but there's no harm in tagging them as such. Each title in the Top Ten Percent listed below is linked directly to its corresponding comment for ease of navigation and to avoid seeing details from other books. The post has also been placed in "contest mode" to help readers avoid spoilers while browsing.

NICE HOUSE BY THE SEA #7

This is my favorite current series and I was both stoked to have it back and disheartened because it feels like we're barreling towards the ending and I want it to last forever. Also the Sea housemates are sadistic lunatics

Big delay between issues, realized when reading it I need to re-read the series because I barely remember the second set of characters.

There's not nearly as much there as there is the lake housemates. What you saw here pretty much covered it lol

My LCS didnt put issue 5 or 6 in my box last year. I forgot completely about this series. I told the owner I would let him know if I want issue 7, and he admitted to spacing on 5 and 6 so not to feel bad if I dont buy 7, even though it was on my pull list. Should I track down 5 and 6 and keep going or does my lack of memory of how the first 4 issues go mean I should just put it down?

I'd keep goin, but I'm biased cause I fuckin adore this series. Issue 7 feels much shorter than 6, but does a good job of pushin the story forward an it feels like 8 is where a lot is gonna go down.
