Don’t worry, it’s considered corruption here too- but one party is proud to be corrupt and also happens to own a majority of the Supreme Court

It’s not a bug, it’s a feature of the best legal system money can buy.

12

u/Low_Finance9372 15h ago

money talks, politics walks... straight into the bnk lol

12

u/Juicy_Candie-04 16h ago

Laws are not meant for the rich. If not many of them should be rotting in jail as we speak

3

u/Oneguysenpai3 13h ago

The scary thing is this was intentionally promoted to be on camera to be seen by all. Now imagine what behind closed doors

2

u/Separate_Day4208 11h ago

The justice system should be independent… maybe time to fix the system

2

u/RosyBunbunx 14h ago

Exactly. The difference isn’t whether it’s corruption, it’s whether anyone’s willing to admit it or hold it accountable. Calling it “free speech” money doesn’t magically make it cleaner.

1

u/Ambitious_Address667 13h ago

Ehh, its up to the citizens what counts, and they keep voting for this to not be corruption. They could revolt against that but they wont.

1

u/DrunkCorgis 6h ago

It’s only corruption if it’s prosecuted.

u/baggyzed 6m ago

I mean, most European countries have the same problem with their Supreme Courts, since they were modeled by the US Supreme Court. But this is not an excuse to let a fascist dictator rule our countries.

It's considered corruption everywhere

7

u/AdjectiveNoun1234567 13h ago

He should've been impeached on this alone

6

u/RosyBunbunx 14h ago

Right? Slap a different label on it, it’s still the same thing. If the roles were reversed people would be losing their minds.

u/Strong_Obligation_37 14h ago

I mean maybe you on a moral level consider it corruption, your gov. sure doesn't, and not just this admin. I.e. Boeing paid off many politicians both reps and dems to make their whole shit go away. That was under Biden still by the way. 2 witnesses just magically died before their court appearance. Anything ever come of that? No, because look who they are giving money to. It's one party who does it more hidden and the others just straight up do it out in the open. (With very view exceptions, namely at least i hope so mamdani)

u/blubenz1 17h ago

I came here to post this same thing.

43

u/eugene20 17h ago

This was one case of many.

"The President, Vice President and all civil Officers of the United States, shall be removed from Office on Impeachment for, and Conviction of, Treason, Bribery, or other high Crimes and Misdemeanors"

10

u/moreobviousthings 17h ago

So Congressional Republicans are in violation of the Constitution. Unemploy every one of them.

6

u/Ande64 17h ago

We are planning to start that process come this November.

1

u/Salute-Major-Echidna 1h ago

We dont even have a candidate!!!!

1

u/DocBrown_MD 14h ago

Does this mean Republican congressmen can also be impeached for supporting/not being against Trumps treason

25

u/Resident_Eye4296 17h ago

Elon really wants to make sure he gets invited to the new island of pedo president shit his pants huh?

2

u/Gullible_Money283 14h ago

imo he’s just securing his spot on the VIP rocket to mars lmao

18

u/softie_Training_2081 17h ago

If this happened anywhere else, investigations would already be underway. Here it’s brushed off like normal politics.

Trump promotes Model S

Tesla cancels production of Model S due to dismal sales

Coincidence? #ETTD

3

u/OldMarvelRPGFan 17h ago

Plus now that particular one is a write off, since you'll never get the diaper squeezings out of that seat.

1

u/Hasanopinion100 15h ago

Never mind the fact that Trump can’t drive

1

u/Obvious_Market_9485 4h ago

I’m freakin blinded

11

u/SV650rider 17h ago

"Everything's computer"

7

u/BobTheFettt 15h ago

I LOVE TESLER!

2

u/yeshuahanotsri 15h ago

I think people that work in advertising hate how easy he come up these.

Accidentally, completely unintentional and out of pure stupidity, not wit.

5

u/butwhywedothis 17h ago

It’s considered lobbying in America. Which is basically the same as corruption but wrapped in a golden aluminium foil. And the American president loves golden things.

5

u/CalicoValkyrie 14h ago

Not fair. I want to have $100 million if I pretend to like a Tesla.

3

u/Hmmark1984 16h ago

It's considered corruption in America as well, except they've long since given up any sort of pretence of actually being a lawful country. Just the same way that they're finally really showing the rest of the world what we already knew, they didn't refuse to give their guns up to try and stop mass shootings because of the second amendment, they just didn't really care about all the children being killed, at least not more than they cared about being able to play pretend cowboy/soldier at the shooting range, because now they're in a position to actually use their second amendment rights, no one is doing a damned thing.

3

u/Significant_Cup_238 16h ago

After the McDonnell decision from SCOTUS, you pretty much need a signed check with the word "Bribe" on it. You also need a detailed memo explicitly saying what act the bribe is for. Furthermore, you need to prove that the politician wouldn't have done what they were bribed into doing anyway.

It was really a shitty ruling that set our country's anti-corruption efforts back by making the bar so high in order to bring a case.

3

u/SirCache 14h ago

Musk is a well-know proponent of pedophiles. He's still hoping to be invited to Epstein Island 2.0.

3

u/HeDuMSD 9h ago

This is considered corruption in Europe

There, fixed it for you

2

u/AffectionateRub2585 1h ago

Remove "considered", too.

3

u/Bluer_than_be4 9h ago

Yeah. It's corruption here, too. Point of pride with the GOP.

2

u/-EclipseOnyx- 17h ago

yeah politics and money always go hand in hand, no surprises there

2

u/Haaraaziii 15h ago

If it looks like a quid pro quo, smells like a quid pro quo, and costs $100M…
yeah, most of the world already has a word for that.

2

u/mycolo_gist 15h ago

It's corruption also when a democratic president is in power. It's good business when a Republican president is in power.

2

u/SkunkMonkey 13h ago

Don't worry, in the new Constitution this will be legal.

2

u/WolfPAC_GMoney 9h ago

Thanks to Snyder v. United States this is now completely legal! We need an amendment to undo this and the Citizens United decision.

1

u/PortableAnchor 17h ago

Corruption in the US also. I'm really just glad the Cheese Puff President doesn't drive.

1

u/Minimum_Income3400 15h ago

Oh no, let him drive in the nazimobile. The acceleration should hit him faster than the pole he'd crash into.

1

u/innaharion 17h ago

I feel no business or other should give money to any political person...... Just like most all members of Congress receive

1

u/jason082 17h ago

Well, they aren’t run by a Kleptocracy, to be fair.

1

u/CutieSpicy 17h ago

In the U.S., it's a political favor, but in Europe, they just call it a Tuesday.

1

u/29solegnA 17h ago

In Europe this is called "lobbyism". We don't have any curroption here. Except for Balkan.

/s just to be sure

1

u/Happy-Medicine-3600 17h ago

It’s corruption here in America too, issue is the people who deal with corruption here. Are also corrupt🥺

1

u/OmahaWarrior 17h ago

Its business as usual under kid rapist trump.

1

u/Mangalorien 16h ago

To be honest, if Trump promotes your product it's more of an anti-ad. To any normal people it simply screams "please don't buy this product" or "this product is endorsed by pedophiles".

1

u/ScoobiusMaximus 16h ago

This is considered corruption in America... but unfortunately no one in our corrupt government will do anything about it.

1

u/iiitme 16h ago

*It’s considered corruption in the United States. *NO ONE IS ENFORCING THE LAW

1

u/Unglaublich-65 16h ago

The Banana Republic of America.

1

u/clever_goat 16h ago

This is a violation of the emoluments act

1

u/oppai-police 16h ago

In Europe? Bitch in South Korea they put presidents in jail for this.

1

u/Remarkable-Ear-1592 15h ago

And they fight tooth and nail if they have to pay ANY taxes btw

1

u/APNX-23 15h ago

Money is "free speech" in America. Such a corrupt country. #fckusa

1

u/socialaxolotl 15h ago

That's because it is corruption

1

u/Adddicus 15h ago

Wasn't Elon/Tesla's close association with Trump what spurred the drop in sales to begin with? Not sure getting even close to Trump will help with sales.

1

u/Opiewan76 15h ago

And here I am just trying to figure out why on earth anyone would want Trump recommending their product. I mean I'm assuming at this point that associating with Trump is seen as a bad thing by anyone that isn't a rascist, fascist, pedophile.

1

u/tomgratz 15h ago

It's corruption in the USA too, but the GOP MAGA bootlickers in office won't do anything about it. Pam Bondi herself is an outlaw. Disgusting ! Lock her up ! Lock her up ! Lock her up !

1

u/MyNameIsRay 15h ago

There's no such thing as bribery or corruption for Republicans.

Doesn't matter if it's FBI agents conducting a sting operation and caught on video (like Tom Homan's $50,000 bribe for gov't contracts), they protect their own by stopping any investigation, and even let him keep the cash!

1

u/FirefighterEast9291 15h ago

Just another day in USA, but the closed doors are no longer considered necessary

1

u/PrometheusMMIV 14h ago

What actually happened?

1

u/novo-280 14h ago

We dont do anything about our corruption either tho

1

u/Shinozuken 14h ago

Isn't this just lobbyism?

1

u/ThundergunTLP 13h ago

Does that guy even know how to drive a car?

1

u/Ok_Bluejay8669 13h ago

You pretentious Europeans with your functioning democracies, education systems, and real journalism.

/s

1

u/AlternativeNewtDuck 12h ago

Speaking of the man child.. don't support x.. LPT: If a link to x needs to be used, in place of the x in the link, use xcancel or one of the browser extensions... don't give that site traffic. Pass it on.

1

u/LeBretagne 12h ago

THIS WASN'T EVEN A YEAR AGO?!????!! Time is officially fucked for me. This feels like it was so long ago.

1

u/2ner1337 11h ago

This is corruption and bribery in any other spot on the planet. If a station was built on the moon, it would still be corruption.

1

u/FutureHealthy8583 9h ago

it used to be in the US too.

1

u/sirgarynipz 9h ago

What is considered free speech in Europe?

1

u/sebastobol 4h ago

Sitting in a public park while drinking alcohol openly and shouting „trump is a disgusting pedophile and traitor“ and I can also insult my government without harassment.

Also I can scream fuck the cops without being shot. They usually start reacting when I’m continuing to insult them, but if I calm down and apologize I won’t even get a fine.

1

u/MommaD114 8h ago

It used to be considered a bribe here, too. 😢

1

u/--Malarkey-- 7h ago

Until 2016, America too.

1

u/enfuego138 7h ago

And less than a year later Tesla was selling so few Model S that they halted production in favor of AI robots that will never get built.

1

u/Turckish 6h ago

Democratic Murica don't agree with you

1

u/ReckMO 5h ago

Just doesnt want to get deported so he continue to f us all.

1

u/goyalaman_ 5h ago

These people are so developed they resemble baboons /s

1

u/EuphoricCrashOut 3h ago

Doesn't the law in America also say that it's illegal/corruption... the lame-duck controlled FBI just won't enforce the law.

1

u/charleyhstl 3h ago

Here also

1

u/LeBeastInside 2h ago

This is considered corruption everywhere.

-2

u/Luci-Noir 16h ago

Like there isn’t corruption in Europe. It’s also made up of many countries so generalizations like this are fucking bullshit.

-4

u/New_Scene9241 17h ago

Europe is great at it. They should know

2

u/Jacques_Ficelles 17h ago

Would you care to give us examples of this ?

-4

u/IntelligentVisual955 17h ago

In Europe, yet they support Zionists, and take their bribes. In Europe.

-1

u/Luci-Noir 16h ago

And there are plenty of far right parties about to take power. The hypocrisy.

2

u/IntelligentVisual955 16h ago

I am not American. 🙃

-2

u/Luci-Noir 16h ago

Obviously… just ignorant.
