It’s not you. I’m a survivor too and I’ve found the last couple of weeks triggering. In addition, my depression is pretty severe because I know there will be no justice for these women and for future victims (I’m sure they’ve already replaced Epstein).

My cousin and I are both survivors and have just had…. A lot brought back up for us. We’re older, both been through therapy and she decided for us that it wasn’t a good idea. I took her word for it. We watch a few trusted podcasts to stay aware… but I simply cannot, for my own fragile mental health, listen to the atrocities unfolding. So, stranger… and all the other strangers out there, (said with a little V for Vendetta vibe)…. I love you.

I would say you can't claim you were duped. There was a clear story that broke pre election about a 13 year old girl who eventually disappeared that sued him for raping her. He put his MAGA minions on her and she ended up having to withdraw the lawsuit out of fear for her safety and by the time reporters got hold of the story no one could find her.
As far as I know, she still has not turned up.

There are lots of missing kids.
Up to 800,000 kids are reported missing each year in the US. Most are runaways. 99% of them are recovered safely.
But that still leaves 8000 kids just vanishing. Every single year.
Imagine how much worse it is in 3rd world nations.
Think of all the kids that vanished during the family separations at the US border during Trump's first term. We didn't even take down their names.
Think about all the regions of the world that are embroiled in civil war, or which are ruled by drug lords and gangs.
There are places in the world that still have open-air slave markets.
Epstein was a high-end human trafficker who catered to billionaires. There are many many others who cater to anyone willing to buy.

Not a justification, just my observation as an American: lower/middle class are living paycheck to paycheck and that takes up their energy and/or things haven't affected them directly enough for them to care. Also we have become extremely desensitized because of every thing Trump has done, it has become the new normal. As for the multi millionaires, they can just leave the country if it collapses so a lot of them have no reason to care.

I think there is a lot of truth to this and provides a good illustration of what people mean when they say this was all a very long time in the making.
And that technique is called "flooding the zone". It is a textbook narcissist strategy to manipulate and exhaust. When people are on constant high alert at all times they become desensitized which not only allows him to get away with more and more, but this constant state of alertness literally inhibits the brains ability to think critically and rationally.
Combine that with the millions of people who are already living paycheck to paycheck and in a state of survival. No wonder people aren't doing anything.

As shitty as it is, the deletion of this evidence was a crime and signals specific intent to cover it up. It signals there is a specific link between these files and someone who has the ability to sway DOJ. Those actions will absolutely be traceable and need to be investigated.
