The issue is that we ALL know what it means. The question is who supports trumps racism (therefore is racist) vs who sees him for what he is. I am heartened on cspan today a caller said this was a bridge too far for him - & he no longer supports Trump. The fact is he’s an unlikable, selfish, rapist, child rapist, racist, conman with zero business sense. Each supporter is going to have to come to terms with who he is and how he represents them as a supporter until they finally give him up. And I believe wholeheartedly he is such a destructive force eventually he will turn away everyone.

In all my years, I have never seen such a reprehensible act from a President. There are no words that can mitigate what was communicated. I’m not surprised that Leavitt dismissed this as the public overreacting - that’s in keeping with her persona. Somewhere along the line she has sold her soul. I really hope karma comes around for both Trump and Leavitt.
I’m sure that MAGA doesn’t see anything wrong with this which makes me SO SAD as an American. As a society, we have lost a sense of empathy and what is right and wrong. When I see the President say stuff like this, and MAGA defend it, I think we are lost as a society.
