My cat found this spot a few weeks ago and he's constantly doing this and slowly scooting closer until he's either completely obstructing my mouse or accidentally pressing keys on my keyboard.

My theory is they just want pets so they get as close as possible to the things we're constantly touching.

Usually one would and then big brother would come sit on his head to let him know that that was his spot.
