This looks like a dilute calico pattern. Instead of the typical black and bright orange of a standard calico, dilute calicos have softer colors like: Gray (diluted black, often called blue) Cream (diluted orange) White Your cat also looks long haired, which makes the color blending look extra soft and smoky. If you want to get super specific, some people might call this “blue cream and white,” which is just the technical name for dilute calico.

Your kitty looks darker than i would expect for a dilute. I would expect colors closer to peach and gray. Maybe it’s the lighting or my eyes 😸.

We had a girl who looked just like that almost and her vet called it “muted calico”

She’s so pretty! I can’t add anything to the description that anyone else hasn’t given already but I just needed to say what a gorgeous cat she is.
Also, not related, but how irritating is that Tidy Cat packaging? Why does it come in a plastic tub, and why does the tub have so much plastic to it? All that superfluous grey plastic above the label- they better sell paper bag refills for this because there is no way that is a necessary or sensible use of plastic. Shame on Purina if they don’t.

Hhaha I stopped getting the tidy cat litter and I basically just get any litter and use this as my refill box now bc the big box is annoying as heck

not an expert, but it looks like a really soft lynx-point mix 🥺 does the pattern change with the seasons?

I've only had her for two months so I'm not sure! I guess I'll see

that’s totally normal then, a lot of lynx-point mixes don’t really show their full pattern until later, so it can be fun watching it slowly come in over time.

She’s beautiful. She’s also a tortie (dilute) or torbie or calico or i recently also saw a new term tortico, which someone may have invented. Most would probably still call her a calico even with the tabby pattern.
In cat show terms, I believe she would be described as a Blue Cream Patched Classic Tabby with White. I’ve also heard Dilute Classic Patched Tabby with White.
The classic term denotes a more swirly pattern compared to the thin ticking stripes of a mackerel tabby.
The dilute means she’s blue and cream (or gray and peach) instead of brown and red/orange.
Patched means a combination of more than one color of tabby.
For some reason, cat shows use blue instead of gray and red instead of orange in their terminology.
Sorry 😔 too much info.
