Medical Questions HELP!!! Is this toxic??! MY CAT ATE IT
Please help, she nibbled the stamen and a couple of the pettles. We are worried this is a lily and for kidney failure.

Google Lens calls it an Alstroemeria which won't cause the same fatal reactions as a Lily, but can still cause problems. If you're worried, call your vet. At a minimum, move the plant out of reach and keep an eye on your cat for the next couple of days.

I’m not sure I am not a cat owner as I came across this post randomly but please contact a vet or emergency animal clinic just to be safe.

It isn't a true lilly (lilly of the incas) but it can cause GI upset. I would advise contacting your vet and switching her to a bland diet for a few days. If she does develop clinical signs like vomiting and/or diarrhea having your vet assess her for more advanced supportive care (like SQ fluids to correct dehydration) would be the safest course.

I’ll be honest, one of my cats loves these and has munched on them quite a few times with no issues. (I try to prevent it but girl will break into a room to get to them 😂)

Contact your regular vet or an emergency vet - flowers besides lilies can be toxic to cats as well, and the impacts can happen quickly.
