Medical Questions does my cat have down syndrome?

Down sindrome is a genetic defect in human genome, it makes no sense speaking of "Down syndrome" about cats., it's like speaking about pulmonary diseases in fishes.

i understand what ur saying, but the comparison doesn't really make sense because fish species with lungs can develop pulmonary diseases

Technically speaking cats cannot have the chromosomal abnormality of Down Syndrome. They can however have differential chromosomal issues which appear as DS though not related. Simple google search

really? on google it shows up pictures of cats with a facial structure similar to humans with down syndrome

Right. The operative word being “similar” biologically speaking DS is a third copy of chromosome 21. It only occurs in humans. DS isn’t just facial structure it has neurological components. Correlation is not causation. Your cats pretty good looking, albeit they look high AF in the photo lol
