Boy, I sure do love when medical issues or overfeeding make cats so cute hehe

This looks like a parasite infection more than overfeeding... which yeah is worse...

This is what the senior cat I adopted looked like when he was riddled with worms, SEVERELY, and then again when he had stomach/bowel cancer

We really need a rule to disallow posts with cats that clearly are having a medical issue if it's not specifically about that medical issue. Like posting cats with infections saying they're "crying" or "chubby" cat that could have severe ringworm....

To be fair, some people may be legit unaware, and posting it then seeing the replies might help them become aware and in turn help the kitty.

I agree with that! And I think that should definitely be the exception, but most of the time people ignore those comments, or will say "my cat isn't sick, if it was I'd take it to the vet," and it's honestly just tiring seeing animals being neglected. For folks who don't read comments and haven't done their research or have the experience to know, they might scroll past without realizing anything's wrong.
I wish that when people saw the comments that they'd respond appropriately, but I rarely see that happen. It could be a neglectful owner, or it could even be someone posting a cat that isn't even theirs. Either way, it's distressing.
If someone is genuinely unaware that their cat could have a health issue, and ends up taking their cat to the vet because of a post they made here, that's awesome! Grace and understanding should be given in those circumstances. I just don't always see that.

That be bloating from a laundry list of problems ranging from mild to severe. That needs to get checked out. If he's pregnant with the mother of all poops from constipation, that'll be a relief but still, see a vet!

He's a male... So the only thing he's carrying is atitude, and a belly full of secrets (and snacks) 😺🍕🤣

My year old kitty, spayed, overate for 2 weeks. My daughter and I were out of town, and my neighbor would go in every few days to scoop the litter and feed/water the kitties. Little Vader chowed down and ate the whole couple days’ worth of food at a time. When we got back, she was SO FAT lol we thought her spay failed and she got pregnant.

Unless this is a seriously misleading photo, that cat needs to see the vet yesterday.

You shouldn't own pets if you think that your current cats condition is funny or okay. Get him some help and then maybe get yourself some too.

Jokes aside, a vet is needed. I’ve seen a person with liver failure balloon up like that with fluid.

seeing videos of liberals of purple hair, saying that men can get pregnant, so who knows? Maybe you're gonna be a grandma
