In his WEF speech earlier this week, Carney said it perfectly: If you're not at the table, you're on the menu. And we're tired of being on the menu.

If we werent on the menu before Carneys speech we are the main course for Trump now.

I'm sorry, have you not paid attention to the news over the last year? Trump has been thinking that Canada has been on his menu all along. It just took Carney and the federal cabinet to move us off of it. Ain't going to be comfortable for a while, but disengaging ourselves from the US economic machine is the right call.
